  • Very funny and very endearing.

  • pacino similar to sylvester stallone :O

  • @badmanigga your joking right?

  • @3Axy10Est13 look again :o

  • @badmanigga I meant acting wise...Pacino is 30.000 times a better actor than stallone

  • great i learned something today!!

  • GENIUS

  • What does ad-libbed mean?

  • The saddest part is when Cazale says he doesn't want the cancer.

  • Sydney Lumet nearly ruined the take from trying not to laugh after Cazale ad-libbed "Wyoming".

  • @hamsterdam92 Is it just me or can you kind of hear Lumet laughgin in the background?

  • Improvised

  • Al Pacino so handsome.

  • Cazale's improvisational genius at work in this scene. What a great film.

  • Its retarded that you cant post movies like this on youtube. Youtube expects me to pay 2.99? to see a movie made in 1975? Give me a break. Ill give you 10 cents, how about that. Amazing how people think they make a movie and everyone should have to pay to see it even if it was made over 30 years ago!

  • @vidfreak56 Mabye because its a lot better movie than 99.9% of movies that come out now

  • @rupertpupkin77 That doesnt justify paying $2.99 for a movie that was made over 30 years ago!! Its ridiculous for film studios to ask for rights to movies they made that long ago and was compensated for many times over. They have no reason to ask ppl to pay money if they all ready made a profit and everyone involved in the movie was paid! Theyre just being greedy assholes. There are tons of movies on youtube aswell. Why pay to see some and not others? Its just silly.

  • @vidfreak56 then shut up and don't watch it. simple.

  • @spxeli ROFL so if you dont like something then shut and dont do it! LOL your a moron. I can love a movie but not love how a production company tries to rake me over the coals whenever it becomes popular or people love it 30 years after it was made. The fact of the matter is im not paying $2.99 for a movie made 30 years ago, and $1.99 for a movie made last year. If you pay that price, your a sucker.

  • @vidfreak56 First of all learn the difference between "your" and "you're". Second of all, I'm a genuine movie fan and Dog Day Afternoon is one of my favorite movies. So like most people I went out and bought the DVD.

It doesn't matter how old the movie is, if you really believe you're entitled to watch it for free than your logic is really messed up. It's the production companies product and they can put it out there however they want. Stop bitching.

  • @spxeli LOL i dont type you're to save space(500 chars is too little). Secondly I dont care what you are as a fan. Production companies lobby the government to make laws so that when mass distribution becomes available, they can limit supply and raise the price. I dont have to buy a DVD just because you did. Copyright laws basically give companies way too much time to profit off of movies(they own nothing..the state just says they do). Its a joke. Stop bitching? Make me.

  • @vidfreak56 make you? i don't even know you. what an internet tough guy you are. well anyways you're obviously mentally unarmed so i won't continue this discussion with you.

  • @spxeli LOL and you bow out. "Make me" is about as pertinent than telling someone to "stop bitching" in a comment forum you fucking waste of life. You obviously arent mentally capable of having this conversation so you decide to run like a coward. Figures.

  • @vidfreak56 No, I just don't want to waste my time with people who are easily frustrated and have to hurl insults at people. I'm able to have an intelligent conversation but I obviously already proved my point. You're the one who can't come up with a decent rebuttal, thus why you're getting defensive.

    -Peace and love.

  • @spxeli People who back out of conversations are easily frustrated. Thats you. And throwing insults?? You pretty much sealed that deal by telling me to shut up, so stop the innocent act. Proved what point? Youve made no point that I havent refuted. You've said nothing that proves anything other than what your belief is. And the funny part is you dont even believe what you say. No one thinks that people should have infinite right to what they think up. Pure and simple.

  • ahhahahaha shit.

-"is their any specific country you want to go to?"

    -"wyoming"

    -"Thats not a counrty" LOL

  • IMDB says that this line was ad libbed, and that director sidney lumet laghed so hard on set theat the feared he croaked the scene. but he didnt and the line stayed in the final cut. knowing that, watch the flash in the eyes of cazales good friend pacino as he handles the ad-lib...you can see Pacino wants to laugh also but keeps it together then preserves the take by walking away.

  • Ad-lib scene. R.I.P Cazale and long live Mr. Pacino.

  • Cazale was a true master. RIP.

  • I love you John

  • Brilliant can't believe it was improvised. RIP john cazale GOAT

  • the guy who plays sal is also freedo from the godfather

  • @videoman954 ---didnt know that. What a brilliant actor John Cazale was. RIP. Wyoming!! (hahahah)

  • Okay, so I am praying to God that He'll send a special someone to me who has al Pacino's great eyes!!:)

  • @PrettyTiaF

that's my same prayer too, what a coincidence :)

  • @sablebaby LOL! U go, girl! well, im just learning that in the BIble it says that God gives us the desires of our hearts (psalm 37, if you're interested) so thats REALLY good to know! haha:)

  • @PrettyTiaF what a coincidence i pray for the same thing to :P LOL

  • Rest in peace, Sidney Lumet. :(

  • I knew it was you, John, you broke my heart~~

  • It is a testament to how good Pacino is that he didn't laugh his ass off when he heard "Wyoming" ROFL!

  • @Shelby596 why is that funny? im dutch please explain

  • Poor Sal.

  • I think Al almost broke, but they both kept it together.

  • Did you know that was all ad libing? John cazale wasn't supposed to say wyoming

  • oh shit==))))))

  • funny scene...

    RIP, john cazale...

  • RIP, john cazale...

  • Fredo, ehehehe...

  • now you see how smart Fredo is

  • This scene is so hilarious. They both did a great job in this.

  • ...I give credit to Pacino for not breaking up.

  • They said Cazale was suppose to say nothing there but the ad lib was so brilliant and funny that they just couldn't leave it out. I think most sensitive people would've reacted the way Pacino did; he heard the stupidity of the answer but he maintained decorum and skipped the subject so not to embarrass "Sal" any further than that. There was no need to continue on. "..thats alright. I'm gonna take care of it"..LOL

  • EVERYBODY was great in this film. Actors, director, "side" people (no disrespect, to the contrary), this was the time in America when true art in profession of acting still existed. However, I would like to focus on one particular actor, JOHN CAZALE, great actor who left us too early. May your soul rest in peace, forever!

  • @roccoprch1.....you aint kidding..... If he hadn't died at 42 in 1978...he would have been up there with big veteran A-listers like Pacino, DeNiro, Streep and winning Oscars......he left way too early.

  • @karenpato1 True artist, he was!

  • Tank you for you're great acting..John Cazale....you are missed.

  • I heard this was completely imrov'd

  • @BrendanIsCool- I think most of the entire movie was improvised actually.

  • @fyfytj I think your life is improvised!

    :-3

  • @BrendanIsCool- What?

  • This is one of my favourite films EVER.I think it's so underrated.

  • My mom went to Boston U. drama with Cazale. She said that even in college, he was regarded as a budding master. All of the other undergrads followed his every word.

  • @rumrunner777 tell us more ...please

  • You can see Pacino almost lose it at 0:37. In the HBO documentary, Pacino said that Cazale ad-libbed the "Wyoming" line.

  • i can almost hear the director's chuckle @0:36

  • So damn perfect !

  • r.i.p john cazale

  • I love Al Pacino's hair and voice in this movie.

But John Cazale was just amazing!

  • @KeyToMyRelease

Sonny was the inspiration for Moe syzlac...

  • John Cazale is a smart guy.

  • He is sexy, too.

  • @karlo1d1kreten was .

  • @septichar

"Wyoming" was ad-libbed. People on the set started to laugh but Sidney Lumet shut them up and kept the take.

  • Comment removed

  • @septichar Yes the Corleone brother´s again together! ja!

  • @septichar His a freaking genius.
