The response to that act of kindness was multiple aggressions by the U.S.: First stealing the Louisiana (or buying it to Napoleon, who didn't own it), and later bombing their own ships in Cuba to justify the taking over of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Guam, etc.

En absoluto,no se ayudó a EEUU, se ayudó a unos rebeldes coloniales a independizarse de Gran Bretaña y debilitar a éste país,que era de lo que se trataba.
El que luego esos rebeldes se convirtieran en la potencia hegemónica del continente americano en el S XlX,y mundial en el XX no se podía haber previsto,ni era el caso hacerlo.

Suponiendo que esas colonias no se hubieran independizado de Gran Bretaña, y se hubieran expandido hacia el oeste de la misma manera que un estado independiente ¿Crees que no habrían presionado al virreinato de nueva España? Los británicos echaron a los franceses de canadá e intentaron romper el imperio español en 1741 fracasando ,¿me vas a decir que en el S XlX con Gran Bretaña en la cima de su poder, y España en total decadencia, el imperio español se habría conservado intacto?

Ahora sí, gran vídeo. Hace poco vi uno sobre la contribución de Francia en esta guerra y en mi opinión daba a entender que solo los franceses ayudaron a los yankees en su independencia. Con este vídeo ya no hay dudas, buen trabajo.
