I thought this comparsion also no sense....due to HP 2133 use Novell Suse linux and Eee PC's linux was based on some kernel version and develop it by Asus..
I mean the Linux's component installed on two PC is quite difference....can you compare at least apple to apple?
Well this is supposed to be a comparison of the default Linux distros, it wouldn't be default if I modified them... I'm thinking of doing a boot test with ubuntu on both machines quite soon.
The distribution the Eee uses is based on Xandros, and yes, it is (heavily) *modified* by Asus. And the comparison is full of sense, since most end-users don't care what distribution their laptop is running, they just want it to start faster.
you can change asus mini pcs inverment (if you have got the update) by clicking settings personlise then profeshnal mode i think!

Hopefully It'll get a new processor soon, theirs a new via coming out that looks quite good not sure if they'll use it tho.

Does the HP have a solid state drive, or a spinning hard drive?
From what I've seen, SSDs are faster than HDDs.
