johny, thanks for the note. I wanted to ask you about your "charger diodes" on your exciters, where you can charge caps/batteries off the smaller or higher current coil, or the big one or both. You are on to something very useful here.
I always wanted to employ a tesla coil in reverse sort of, to use the hi-volt /low currnent end to convert back to lo-volt/high current load again, and maybe get a boost from the ZPE energy.

Good work Jack - you'll have to measure the V/I of that winding inside the tube and let us know.
Be interesting to see what it produced if the coil ran the full length of the tube & had more turns?
