This is different. You either like it or you don't. It may grow on me with time. But artistic license is what it is and artists can sing their songs any way they like. Cindy and Kate's voices are equally amazing and wonderful. While Kate is technically perfect in hitting notes, there is no one who can match the soul and feeling that Cindy exudes when she sings. Having been to a few dozen B-52s concerts I can honestly say that Cindy is the catalyst who can take the show from great to unforgettable. If you don't think so go drink a f*ing 7-Up...

I must not be watching and listening to the same thing. First of all, if you're gonna go Acapella or acoustic, you've GOT to have a voice that doesn't need dubbing or voice-over work in a studio. Clearly, she needs every bit of help she can get in the studio and everywhere else. This performance is octaves lower than the original, barely on-key, and she can't even hold a note more than 5 seconds. Other than that, it's great. Pfft.

Whereas this song, "Roam", is one of my favorites of all time, I really enjoyed hearing this played in a more soulful, bluesy tone. Changes the whole complexion of the song. Just like making love; slow, passionate, heavy, and, at times, breathless.
