Thanks u did save my day:) was changing the Charging connector :)
To everone: First time u open the phone, it will have som GLUE O.o in some places like under keypad, under LCD so it will be a bit "hard" to take these 2 off, i tougth that i will break then but... it did work nice just take it slowly! :)
u can easily disassemble the lcd screen by first keeping your phone near a bulb for 15 minutes atleast, giving it some indirect heat, after removing the lcd cover. the glue melts and looses its adhesive property.then u can lift the lcd screen without breaking it.
here is a video that shows how to remove the N82 lcd.... note : the gum on the perimeter of the lcd,,, that is why the lcd breaks while removing with force !!!
Fuck!!! The bastard on the video has a phone without glue inside. I did all exaclty as he did and my lcd screen was broken because the fucking hard glue behind it! :(
that is why there is thing when "YOU DO IT YOURSELF" . . . risk . .. . risk of making such things like you mentioned. . .. so take extra care. . . specially when handling the lcd screens. ... and atleast have a spare ready. . . thanks for the info though. . hehehhe.. . ..peace
Just a note to anyone watching this.. this disassembly is done on a phone that is just for show. Odds are more than likely your phone has glue and other adhesives inside holding parts together
This is why it's not as easy to take apart as the video, and it is why I GUARANTEE you will need to replace your LCD screen when you try to take it out.. The method they show is correct but if the screen is bonded it will flex and crack under the slightest pressure
dudeeeeee i just crack the screen LCD idk what i did wrong i did it the way you showed it!! anyways i got replacement for under $10 i ll be carefurl this time

I broke the display by following these instructions step by step and I realized, after removing the LCD because it was unusable, that the display is glued and then leveraging it is immediately broken.
i wonder why those manufacturer needs to put a high sticky adhesives behind the lcd for n82 it sucks i broke mine upon i replace it! i try to be carefull but it doesnt help. does anyone had an idea why they need to put that kind of strong glue behind? they can put even just a little bit at the center as big as a piece of rice right? damn idea.
I'm getting a n82 soon, and I'd like to replace the silver front and back with the black parts. I've heard users who replace the entire thing with black and their camera stopped working. I think it has to do with a magnet when you open the shutter. I'm trying to figure out which piece has the magnet. I won't be replacing the main frame or middle, only the front and back. Is the piece you remove at 8:03 safe to replace without making the camera stop working?
try to refresh the webpage if it says the video had been removed. . . or maybe just maybe your adobe flash player is not updated. . . try to update it
it depends on where you are located. .. heres a hint. . . asks technicians on where to buy parts. . . tip them or bribe them if you have to. . . or you might aswell buy orig parts from the cellphone company
I have broken my display, cause it was glued at the frame! @ the video shows you that it is very easy to lift out of the frame! but it is very hard :)
now i have a new display, without so much glue on his back :)
I had the button fall off after six months and took it back to the nokia. After having to wait an hour to give nokia the phone, then 5 days get notified it was ready and then 1/2 hour to wait to pick it up. I was then told they wouldnt repair a button that had fallen off under warranty. The reason given was that it had some liquid damage traces even though it was totally unrelated to the mechanical issue.
