  • robiłem według tego filmiku i właśnie zjebał mi sie wyświetlacz.

  • nice gloves

  • There should really be a WARNING about the glue back of the lcd when removin it! I did broke my lcd because of that. Or even some tips removing it.

  • Thanks u did save my day:) was changing the Charging connector :)

To everone: First time u open the phone, it will have som GLUE O.o in some places like under keypad, under LCD so it will be a bit "hard" to take these 2 off, i tougth that i will break then but... it did work nice just take it slowly! :)

  • thank your help to my n82 display service ;)

  • unlock all phones --> misophones . com

  • fuck that,i lost my lcd screen >.<

  • u can easily disassemble the lcd screen by first keeping your phone near a bulb for 15 minutes atleast, giving it some indirect heat, after removing the lcd cover. the glue melts and looses its adhesive property.then u can lift the lcd screen without breaking it.

  • Good video - where is the auxillary/back up battery? Mine needs replacing

  • مشكور على المعلومات

  • here is a video that shows how to remove the N82 lcd.... note : the gum on the perimeter of the lcd,,, that is why the lcd breaks while removing with force !!!

  • that is why there is thing when "YOU DO IT YOURSELF" . . . risk . .. . risk of making such things like you mentioned. . .. so take extra care. . . specially when handling the lcd screens. ... and atleast have a spare ready. . . thanks for the info though. . hehehhe.. . ..peace

  • @aikonmania

I´m a German located in the Philippines, need to replace my housing but got no clue where to get a good `copy´. Any tips are apreciated

    tnx F.

  • Just a note to anyone watching this.. this disassembly is done on a phone that is just for show. Odds are more than likely your phone has glue and other adhesives inside holding parts together

This is why it's not as easy to take apart as the video, and it is why I GUARANTEE you will need to replace your LCD screen when you try to take it out.. The method they show is correct but if the screen is bonded it will flex and crack under the slightest pressure

Buy a new screen with your new housing

  • dudeeeeee i just crack the screen LCD idk what i did wrong i did it the way you showed it!! anyways i got replacement for under $10 i ll be carefurl this time

  • wow

  • where can i buy some of them gloves from ,

  • my camera doesnt open when i switch it on. what should i do ?

    help please

  • Where are the speakers? Are they lost?

  • same.. good thing my lcd was already unuseable

  • @roberts951 me too, they seem impossible to remove..

  • Nice guide. Now i know that it's important to do everything very "gently";]

  • danger. danger. danger. solution. i broke my lcd. its not easy how this video shows. be care full. exactly a bad idea.

  • BE CAREFUL !!!

It's not as easy as it seems.

I broke the display by following these instructions step by step and I realized, after removing the LCD because it was unusable, that the display is glued and then leveraging it is immediately broken.

  • thanx

  • dano da uspee da go zglobi

  • bad!!!

  • men this really helps a lot!!! THANX!!

  • i can't find the magnet inside camera cover, is it on the video? how does it look like?

  • hey guys there is a small magnet inside camera cover it is very small so be careful and remember to remove that other wise camera will not work

  • Is the main frame made of magnesium?

  • ATTENTION !!!! i've tried to remove the screen and i broke it.. it's fixed with clue.. j'ai essayé de démonter l'écran et je l'ai cassé..

  • I'm getting a n82 soon, and I'd like to replace the silver front and back with the black parts. I've heard users who replace the entire thing with black and their camera stopped working. I think it has to do with a magnet when you open the shutter. I'm trying to figure out which piece has the magnet. I won't be replacing the main frame or middle, only the front and back. Is the piece you remove at 8:03 safe to replace without making the camera stop working?

    thanks!

  • good video

  • ss93 is a safe pry tool

  • is it possible to remove the lcd without removing the keyboard and the function buttons?

  • Sounds like a computer.

  • AT&T Natural Voices, but I'm not exactly sure which voice it is.

  • Thanks, this video was very helpful for me.

  • I dropped my N 82 today and the left side of my keypad popped out and I can't squeeze it back in. Would you please tell me how to fix it. Thanks!

  • hey do you know how much is n82 now? good video i watch it 20 times, please reply and what the name of the tools?

  • geez i cant watch this....

    hah

  • anyone knows where to get a new cover?

i ruined mine last weekend losing my n82 on a dancefloor... when retrieving it in the lost-and-found-room, you might imagine what it looked like ^^

  • it depends on where you are located. .. heres a hint. . . asks technicians on where to buy parts. . . tip them or bribe them if you have to. . . or you might aswell buy orig parts from the cellphone company

  • @SimKing1987 ebayebayebay

i got a full housing for 5 bucks incl. shipping

  • @Opelfreakie thx but i doubt that you wanna send it to Switzerland for 5 bucks only ^^

anyway, i got a brand new HTC Desire by now that kicks this N82's ass :P

  • @SimKing1987 The ebaydudes sent it from hong kong to The Netherlands for 5 bucks total price...

And HTC Desire is indeed much better, but I'm getting myself a Samsung Wave:-)

  • @Opelfreakie

    Congratulations!

Everthing that isn't an iPhone 4 kicks ass :-)

  • but... y?

  • BE CAREFUL!

I have broken my display, cause it was glued at the frame! @ the video shows you that it is very easy to lift out of the frame! but it is very hard :)

now i have a new display, without so much glue on his back :)

  • Thanks heaps, this was so helpful

I had the button fall off after six months and took it back to the nokia. After having to wait an hour to give nokia the phone, then 5 days get notified it was ready and then 1/2 hour to wait to pick it up. I was then told they wouldnt repair a button that had fallen off under warranty. The reason given was that it had some liquid damage traces even though it was totally unrelated to the mechanical issue.

I am now buying the part and fixing it myself.
