  • Great job as always!

  • Look at the camera so we can see your eyes. The eyes tell all..

  • damn she is sooooo sexi ....she can evp me :)

  • I have had this problem too!! wich is why i would rather do it alone...

I'm past the point where I want someone with me...I know it's real,

and it doesn't bother me to go out by myself...and when I do capture a lengthly

EVP....it's even more astonishing and meaningful to know that I am the only

person present...whatever energy is there trying to communicate...it is for me.

and me alone...kinda selfish I know!!! but again it's more personalized.

    great post brandi.

  • @00MORDRED RIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is why I like to do evp recordings ALONE! No external contamination because I'm the only one there so every noise is accounted for. If I make a noise by accident, I mark it on the recording for later when I go back to listen so I know what it was! I've also turned on a recorder & set it in an empty room. I caught an evp this way, too. Nobody was in that room at the time but a voice showed up on my recorder! Now I know it's a genuine evp.

  • Sorry for my comment, you know where I was coming from now. Maybe now you understand why I posted that particular comment. I agree it is very helpful to know who is speaking and videotaping is an excellent idea. Annie:)

  • I have a TR2000 Communication Receiver and I have set it to scan from 1mhz to 2mhz and I have made five videos on EVP'S all of them of this boy Martin and some of an American called Jeremy Wade Delle. Please hear my EVP videos and tell me what you think.

  • It is important to know who is speaking or muttering ( coughing, clearing throat, ect ) Its also important to note that if you are going to do an actual "EVP session", then people should be quiet and wait for a response. Sometimes though, you get really good EVP while youre talking or someone else is talking. However, if the people you are with cant sit still for a minute, then they should not accompany you on any EVP recording session. Its not about them after all, its all about the EVP.

  • Ruby here again ... I'm working a lyric for you , I then will take it to the studio and add the music( which I don't have yet ) my process is usually music and then the words?!? My only prob is I use two different women to sing. As this will be a " luv" song, it might be weird OR spookier than intended...... We'll see QQ

  • So Intense...Excellent Video~I Like!!!!!!!

  • @evpinvestigations it is not obvious to all. This video was directed to both investigators and non- and to those trying to learn while others, continue honing their skills. If it was obvious I wouldn't get so many emails asking, to which I've responded in this video. As the video says, until anything is proven, i.e. certain techniques or equipment being "better" I will be careful. I've worked with many investigators, & not all film their evp sessions.

  • @AcidEntertainment I agree with you, it is better to have less noises therefore less mistakes can be made. Ive shown that you can make an "EVP" out of any noise. ( with enough filtering ) and this is why I dont especially like heavily filtered EVP.

  • @AcidEntertainment as the cat rescuer, youre the only one in this discussion who is not "meowy"

  • @evpinvestigations Thank you for directing people to the AAEVP site. However, this video has nothing to do with THEM, but how I, Brandi Lynn Borgia, record MY evps.

  • Great video Brandi! I feel it is important to actually show the recording as its happening, because that way there canbe no "question" about who is speaking or "rustling?. I think the audio recorder only should be used as a backup, for comparison purposes. A small recorder might be easier to carry around, but its not as valid as actual footage.

  • @hauntedartists that may be true in some instances. i've seen in my videos at investigations where somethang sounded like an EVP, but it was another team member that was not in view of that particular camera, simply moving. ask yourself...do you always have everyone in the area constantly in view of your camera? one would have to do that to say that there is no question about who is speaking or 'rustling'.

  • @JoGurlzStuff thats the problem with doing "investigations" with a lot of people, you cant control the environment. However, at least with camera(s), when some doubter says " oh thats just so and so coughing", you have a chance of showing that its not ( or it is ) with just an audio recording, you have no comeback at all. I dont think anything is 100% as far as "proof", and if youre with a group, theres always somebody who does something

  • @JoGurlzStuff and I also want to say that I dont disagree with you, I do think it also involves personal preferences. ie: what youre comfortable with, or how you get your best results.

  • nice change of pace!

  • good advice! just did some audio work and glad i tagged stuff. just the rustle of clothing rubbing together is often mistaken as an EVP. welcome back, and hope you're doing well!

  • I'm so glad to see you back at work Brandi and you look great!

You are often in my prayers, do always the best and I thank you for the smile you gifted me with now =)

  • Excellent, Brandi - as always. I agree with you completely about the importance of being able to account for everyone present when conducting EVP sessions. I also agree with your "silent" approach: having everyone physically present with you remaining absolutely silent while doing EVP sessions. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, Brandi. Happy hunting! :)

  • @wolfparanormal Hey there, how are you? Thank you for your comments. One of these days we're all going to have to compare notes! We've all come such a long way. I've enjoyed watching my fellow investigators grow and learn through their experiences. We all learn a lot that way no doubt. Always a pleasure having you. Enjoy your day!

  • @AcidEntertainment I'm good, sweetie. Howzabout you? :) It would wonderful to sit down and compare notes; I think we'd have some pretty interesting comparisons. And you're right: we all learn and grow the more we share with each other - which is why it's so important that this process continues. Have a great day and a great week, darlin'. It's been awesome to see you again! :)

  • It's been a while since your last video, but anyways thanks for sharing some insight. Thats why I usually doing some EVP work alone or away from others on the times I've tried it.... :)

  • @VideoDude87 right on! Cool of you to stop by! Hope you're having an enjoyable middle of the night! =)

  • Excellent vlog! I consider this paranormal 101 because it was very helpful. This vlog will always be inbedded in my head when I conduct EVP. Great tutorial and insight!!!

  • @ShoryoTombo thanks. I'm glad you found it helpful. It has helped me a lot so I thought it was time I shared it. How have things been going? How is boycountry? Tell him HI for me! What about Akron? Any other plans to visit?

  • Interesting video Brandi,it may be a good idea to record EVP sessions alone with your team in another room or far enough away so not to get caught by the camcorder.

  • @kel2comedy So glad you made it by! Thank you. Anyway, I need the camera close enough, but not too close, I agree. I just want to make sure I can see everyone's mouth as to be sure nothing sounding unexplained is one of the team. And I agree with your one room idea. That's what we do, everyone in one room alone. That way we're not picking up so and so one room away etc. Looking forward to your next video. I hope you and your family are enjoying the weekend!

  • @AcidEntertainment

    Loving your videos Brandi.

    Have a great weekend too.

  • Thanks for sharing your insight Brandi, always good to share ideas, experiences methods and approaches with each other.

    Great stuff, take care

    Jon

  • Excellent video Brandi.

  • Ive always felt that EVP straight off the camera can not be "challenged", but...as we all know.. people make "noises" without realizing it. A mere stomach growling can be picked up by the sensitive mics on these cameras. Im not against pumping up the volume, but I am wary of too much "filtering"

Now and then we need a remionder, great vid , you look great too.

  • @hauntedartists all evps can be challenged. Cameras, like mini recorders, can pick up muttering, distance speakers etc. I was surprised at how many recordings didn't sound like anyone present upon listening to audio. When the audio was played with corresponding video footage, the "evp" would match someone's lip movements (mutter) exactly).I learned this so I thought it would be helpful to share. I am also wary of over filtered evps. Thank you very much for coming by and commenting!

  • Girl great video! I looooove your top!! so nice! :)

  • @nuji78 thank you very much! I hope you're enjoying Sunday so far!

  • I want to record for EVP but afraid of what I might get. Plus I'm not sure how to really go about it?

Great video and BTW you look awesome, Brandi!!

  • @Llzdd I understand your fear- I fear listening to evps recorded in my home. =) My suggestion would be to try recording at a very quiet cemetery with one other person who you film along with yourself. This way you eliminate the chance of recording yourselves speaking low and later thinking it's evp. I have tested this over and over and over. People forget to speak LOUDLY or announce themselves & often it sounds strange or unique on audio alone. Keep the recorder in plain sight. Thanks =)

  • Great video. It always frustrates me when I see investigation videos where there is so much noise, chatter, and whispering from the investigators to the point where the whole situation is compromised by their noise pollution. Thanks for sharing your methods; I hope it will help inspire others to shush! while they are recording EVP's, and to film everyone present, too.

  • @ParaGlitter I share your frustration- I see no way at this time that evp can be id'd in the spectrogram (although I look forward to that research I mentioned) . I have evp(s), for example, that measure in hz the same as a live human would. Many claim evps have unique frequencies. Sometimes they do, but NOT ALL THE TIME. Until we have a surefire way to physically id evp, it is imperative to film all present during evp recording. I debunk 90% of would be unexplained voices watching the video!

  • How long have you been recording? Just curious.

  • @ELI6888 for almost 2 years (recording evp)

  • Great video very informative! :}

  • @Nigelcf thank you. Always appreciate a visit from you! =) Enjoying the weekend?

  • @AcidEntertainment Hi Brandi, not too bad thanks. Its a bit rainy here but warming up i think. Its about time too! :-) Hope you're having a good weekend too x

  • @Nigelcf we are having the same weather! Finally the sun is staying out more and more. Tired of the rain... Enjoy today! =)

  • Hi Brandi! Long time! Nice vid!

Thought I should comment and let you know although I've been quiet, I haven't died. So don't bother whipping out the ghost box or recorder if you might be looking for me. :D

Finally got a camera to tape my experiments! (Yay!) Now I have to figure out how it works to get the vids I take on the pc! (Ugh.) :D Wish me luck!

  • @Spookypalooza well, hello there! Your comment is hilarious. You gave me a much needed laugh- THANK YOU! Let me know when you post some videos; I would love to check them out.

  • Cool to hear about where you're at with it. You've come a long way, baby! lol

  • @vorama1 thanks. no doubt I've learned a lot since the beginning - now!

  • I'm not someone that says ghosts doesn't exist, but before I'll truly believe that ghosts, spritis demons and other ghosts exist, I want to see one and be around one. A poltergeist would be awesome to actually meet, atleast a kind one and not too active. That would just be scary :P XD

  • @DragonUltraMaster - That is exactly my mindset. I call myself a Ghostnostic.

  • @theburyboys hello there. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Take good care!

  • @DragonUltraMaster that is a healthy P.O.V. Thanks for viewing the video! Have a great middle of the night !
