An object that flashes light isn't alien technology. I have something just like that. It's called a "flashlight." You use it to shine light on things.

In medical science, a light is often used to test pupillary reactions. A person with a head injury or who is in shock may exhibit an abnormal pupillary response to the light. Doctors use these things all the time at disasters such as this one.

Not a thing in this video requires anything beyond 20th (or even 19th) Century Earth technology.

The light that device makes is pretty weird . I can bet that device is alien salvaged technology and re purposed into a medical device , checking for brain activity . As far as we know , an airplane disaster happened and an alien ship was present . Who knows .... maybe that device checks even radiation levels and its effects on human beings .
