if someone robbed a bank and left a sticky note with your name in it, people are going to accuse you. thats what the goons in this vid are doing, but in God's Name. they are missrepresenting what real Christianity is. if Jesus Himself wouldnt do it, (and we can see based in the account of His life in the Bible) then dont do it. please dont be decieved by this video, i only pray that this world will see how real, genuine Christianity really is (and dont confuse true Christianity with catholisism)
@robert77793 No I don't judge everyone, I judge the tree by it's fruits. It's the philosophy that I judge - though there is something to be said about people buying into such an strange cult philosophy, and you my friend are a perfect example.
@robert77793 And what makes your definition correct? Hmmm? Maybe you're not the Christian, Heathen! I would argue that any institution that uses violence, OR THREATS OF VIOLENCE, is a dangerous and immoral one. This video merely demonstrates some of the fruits of this type of ideology. Admittedly it is extreme end of the spectrum, but I also neglected to include the crusades, child molestation, the psychological torture of children, bombing medical clinics, etc etc etc.

acually the suicide rate for Atheist is higher because their worldview leads to death. Also slumping Christianity in this pictures of the KKK is ridiculous. Try reading around Leviticus 20:13 i'm sure these words will be seen in context. O a picture of a naxi concentration camp. also not Christian. Hitler was not a Christian. The only way that Christianity causes violence is when verses are taken out of context. o a video of a protest. no proof it is Christian
Forgot to add that also because a man that claimed to be christian killed and ate 17 people, every other christian also kills AND eats people. No joke.
You're taking all of the shitty people that call themselves christian and putting them in a damn video in an attempt to make the entire religion look terrible based on these crazy ass people. What the hell does this have anything to do with christianity? These people aren't even real christians, so where are your "examples" now?
make sure not to show any muslims (suicide bombers, rape, stonings, 14 year girls being married, female circumcision). they are the real religion of piece. piss off
@SRB2288 yeah I agree. Both are atrocious. This video is about one over the other, because I am more familiar with it. No need to freak out Mr. Sensitive.
@mindinclined i dont believe christianity is atrocious. people of all faiths do atrocious things but it is not necessarily in response to their religion (except in the case of muslims). where are the videos of christians flying planes into buildings? or stoning women to death? oh wait, there are none.
@SRB2288 Christian's don't fly planes into buildings, they drop bombs out of airplanes - that is much easier. One million civilians killed in Iraq because George Bush had a vision from God (the christian sort). Christians continue to terrorize homosexuals, spread propaganda against condoms in AIDS-infected Africa, and protect child molesters from prosecution. Are you completely blind, or do you just not take one second to consider what you're saying before that s*** flies out of your mouth?
@mindinclined They drop planes out of airplanes? Pretty sure that's our entire country. Or is it not a requirement to be a pilot or onboard any aircraft that you have to be a christian.
And yes, every christian is the same, they're all the same as the psychos at westboro baptist church. They all protect child molesters from prosecution and stand against condoms being used as protection from AIDS. Also, every black man loves chicken, sells drugs, and robs a different house every night.
@mindinclined hahaha youre delusional. the bombs get dropped on pieces of shit trying to plant roadside bombs. one million civilians killed is a lot of bullshit. america did not infect africa. africa is a piece of shit because the people who live there wont stand up for themselves. terrorize homosexuals???? america is one of only a handful of countries where homosexuals arent executed by the government. the most democratic and free countries are christian countries.
No people claiming to be Christians cause crime and atrocities. Christ himself said they will murder you in my name thinking they are doing God a favor.
You say that there is no rabid anti-religious sentiment in the last video I comment on and then you have a video to criminalize Christianity.
*SLOW CLAP*
You want to regulate BY LAW what people believe, their thoughts, desires, deepest beliefs? What the hell is wrong with you? You call yourself a free thinker!?!?! That's the most disgusting thing I have ever heard.
LOL, lighten up Johnnie. Consider this more of a mockery of the type of logic that is regularly used by Christians to demonize homosexuals, drug use, and alternative lifestyles. I simply used it against them.
Of course the idea is ludicrous! It's supposed to be.
@mindinclined as long as you know you're ludicrous, well, have fun. I would point out that not everyone who says they are Christians really are.
Adolf Hitler was a Satanist, and there is a lot of evidence for that, he only publicly presented himself as a Christian to maintain the support of the German people.
Christian Scientists deny the core tenants of Christianity, as do JWs and Mormons.
You use the worst to exemplify the whole. Hope it happens to you!
@redlandz1977 Yes indeed, most christians do not commit these awful things, but they do support or even look up to people that do commit them. I would also argue that the fear and brainwashing that all Christians perpetrate against children is horrendous in it's own right.
Of course I use the worst to exemplify the whole. Ridiculous isn't it? Just like arguing that atheism leads to violence, homosexuality leads to depression/suicide, or drugs lead to a life of crime.Does the Medicine taste bad?
@mindinclined Ah, you bring up the stuff I don't do... so, I guess you just assume all Christians do the things you don't like... see, that whole thing goes right back to you. You assume I'm an ass, but in the end, since I don't go around criminalizing gays, saying athiests are rampant sociopaths, or call the police to arrest anyone doing drugs, then all you do is paint yourself is the intolerant, bigotted, and intellectually impotent individual you say you hate. Interesting.
@redlandz1977 Once again the point goes right over your itty-bitty skull. I never made any assumptions about you, except that you were christian. Is that false? If not, the organization you associate with is responsible for what I say. While Nazi supporters aren't as despicable as the SS or Hitler, they are still despicable for endorsing that group.
No, you did. By making the video, telling the world your thoughts on Christians, and saying they are ALL like that, you open yourself up to responses that say "I'm not like that". It is not an "organization" that I support that has done this. It is people who say they believe the same things I do (but obviously don't). Nazi's, yeah, horrible things they said and did... but plenty of other groups have done the same types of things...
@mindinclined Why don't you point out the Taliban blowing up the Buddha statues, Shin Inrikyu poisoning the Tokyo subway, Russian Athiest Communists killing MILLIONS of their own people in the gulags on SUSPICIONS of being traitors (or just too smart). Let alone Chairman Mao, Ho Chi Minh, and the Rwandan "Ethnic Cleansing" of the Hutu's by the Tutsi's... but you don't want to think about that, do you? That must have been religion too... oh, wait, except for the communists... huh...
i understand what you are saying but i think its less religion that drives good people to do bad things and more to do with people that are passionate over sometihng.
ex. i have a friend that gets so upset and angry when ever he loses or does bad in a video game. so because that video game made him change and act different does that mean we should not have video games any more?
religion has he same effect on people. some people get more riled up then others, but that percentage is low.
No where in the video game is there any explicit suggestion to engage in violence or aggression. The game is a fantasy and is marketed as such. The bible is marketed as the unquestionable word of god, and it does explicitly suggest violence and discrimination. What is so confusing about that?
Don't worry, I would include that one too. But Chrisitianity is most applicable in my culture and society (ie, shooting of doctors, protesting soldiers, pressuring laws). It also has the most followers.
o and in case you forgot these organizations were founded under christian individuals:
Salvation Army
YMCA
Red Cross
Samartina purse
Operation Christmas child
there are hundreds of Christian hospitals all over the world. and there are tons of other charities that help children in less fortunate places.
Real Christians are no evil and the problem is you dont hear about all the good things we do, you just hear about the bad things that the radical and confused "Christians" do,
I haven't forgotten. But I think they would do good things with or without Jesus. Good people will do good things. But for good people to do bad things, that takes religion.
you cant take the actions of certain individuals that call them selves Christian and categorize us all and say we are like them.
as for the prisoners and how you said 80% say they are christian. the only reason that half of them would say that is because it makes them look better or nicer.
as for the pictures in the beginning with the protesters and the signs about gays.
they are all associated with one small church, they are very radical and in no way represent a true christian.
In regard to your first point: we can't? We do it all the time with atheists, liberals, communists, drug-users, etc. If those arguments stand, so does mine.
On point 2, that is completely hypothetical lol. And this comes from a private poll, not a newscast.
On point 3 - they may be a small church, but they embody the actual text of the bible. Which, it is argued, is the word of God. If god encourages the discrimination of homosexuals, shouldn't all christians?
so you are acknowledging the fact that you stereotype? that's not fare or right, for Christians, drug-users, or atheists
the bible is Gods word, and he does say that being Gay is a sin and you will go to hell for it. but he also says that lying is a sin and you will go to hell.
Romans 3:23 " for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God."
we would all go to hell if it wasn't for Jesus.
God also teaches to love not hate that's why this church is wrong.
we all sin and we all deserve death for it whether that's lying or having sex with same sex. all that verse is saying is that we deserve to die for that sin just like every sin we commit.
@EdM021 i bet you don't even know what the book of Leviticus is about let alone chapter 20. In Lev. chapter 20 God is talking to Moses and telling him punishments for any sins committed by the Jews. In this chapter God tells Moses a lot of punishments and a good amount of them end in death.
God created these harsh punishments because the Jews at the time were very rebellious and "immature."
mindinclined, I just have one more thing to add to my earlier comments. You have a Father in Heaven who loves you and cares about you. Never stop seeking the Truth.
I appreciate the gesture, but I don't feel the need for a 'Father in Heaven who loves' me. I am the father, the son, and the holy spirit. If you keep searching, you might find them in yourself as well.
I agree that religion is man-made and distorts Truth. In Matthew ch 23, Jesus spoke about the scribes and Pharisees (religious crowd of His day). He clearly rebukes these religious men for they, "shut up the kingdom of Heaven against mankind". God wants only to have a personal relationship with His creation. A loving relationship is only possible when we freely make that choice to follow Him or not. If evil didnt exist, free will wouldnt either. Im curious, what is the meaning of evil to you?
Let me start with a caveat that the term 'free-will' does not mean much on its own. The term has been debated and discussed enough to fill multiple libraries, so using it frivolously doesn't really mean much to me.
For myself, evil is primarily ignorance. Ignorance of the interconnectedness of all things (Probably close to your idea of God). Evil is the perpetuation of this disconnect. In those terms, I think, we are actually quite similar. I just don't see 'God' as an independent entity.
Continued- Im not trying to be facetious, so please dont take this question wrong. Have you ever seeked God for yourself? And by seeking God, I mean, no church, no religious people, no televangelists, just you, alone with God and a Bible? Even if you dont think God is real, you can still call out to Him and ask for the Truth to be revealed to you. The things of this world are evil and corrupt (and that includes people). Keep your eyes off the things of this world and upon something Greater.
Indeed I have. Enthusiastically. What I found was another part of myself, alive, here, in this world.
I do search for something greater- greater within this world, not hypothetically in some after-world.
It is that same non-provable, non-fallible hypothesis that is used to justify evil and corruption in this world.
We might never agree on the metaphysics, but at least we can agree on reality of evil and the necessity to rid ourselves of it. Though I find religion distorts the meaning of evil.
Im sorry youve been hurt by people claiming to be Christians. Keep in mind, theres a distinct difference between those claiming to be Christians, and TRUE followers of Christ. As a follower of Christ myself, I am flawed, I make mistakes and I struggle. Im not at all offended by your video because I too have known many self-professed Christians who were wicked and immoral, as well as many nonbelievers who were kind, gentle and great friends of mine.
lol. I suppose 'wrong' turn implies I have lost God's direction?
You can enforce morality in the sense of humanity, where harm inflicted on another is punishable. This is not religious. But for the most part, yes, we can do what we want and survive! You realize how ridiculous your claim is? How do you think the rest of nature survives without society or language or religion?
losing his job as Chief Musician? That, I guess would be a question, YOU don't want to have to answer honestly. So I'll tell you and let you think about.....The Creator did, you can argue that point of contention all you want, you have that right, and I'll agree with you, I have no desire to force you to believe in Christ. That's not HIS WAY! Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men;
preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually.
Indeed, there is not all that much difference between us in terms of morality. But the flaws you see in this video (purposefully placed), are intended as a mirror.
You erroneously link evil and violence with Godlessness. Just as this video makes the link with Christianity. Both theists and atheists perform evil acts; both make this world a worse place for everyone. The truth is, we should both accept one another because good people are both non-believers and believers alike.Reach out to others
Let me Clarify, not that you want me too. Are sure your aren't being USED? Who benefits from Christianity be removed from the world scene? Yeah, maybe some got it wrong, maybe they weren't the Christians they weren't called to be; But if Christian aren't supposed to JUDGE....WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT! Nothing shown in this video agrees with Jesus' teaching, not the killing, not Hitler, not the KKK, who benefits from Christians getting the blame for atrocities! Who got blamed for Lucifer,....
If I didn't know the TRUTH, this would surprise me! The vile lies perpetuated in this video could have come right from the New Testament. The only thing this video PROVES, is that all of Humanity is totally misguided. The out right rebellious refusal to accept what you are, mandates coming against what Christ is and what Christianity stands. Why should we be surprised by such a out right SATANIC attack upon people believing in Christ. After all isn't your "faith" telling you, you are RIGHT!
The rebelliousness is not satanic. It is merely frustration with dishonesty and false claims of superiority.
My only faith is in myself, and in my ability to make decisions without having them forced upon me by others. Faith in yourself is extremely meaningful. Mystic Christianity favors this point, and I have no qualms with it.
What is right for me, might not be for you. It would be nice if more Christians respected this idea.
First off, these days thinking about an attack can get you imprisoned indefinitely in the U.S. So thinking about crime IS a crime now.
I agree conflict is inevitable, War-maybe. And it depends on your definition of a computer network! Again, people cause war, not religion. I think that the idea of free thought can work, to a certain extent. No religion should be criminalized though, This video shows how easily people can be led into prejudice based on a small sample. You're no exception.
Wow. No one cares you're an atheist. You're still deeply confused Mr. Slut. You sound like Bush calling out the battle cry "You're either with us, or against us." Has the Jedi religion caused any wars? People cause wars. People use religion to create war. But religion itself doesn't cause war. It can be used to justify it, but that's all. Aside from that point. this video is aimed at criticizing your twisted logic, not condoning it. This is about more than religion - Mr. Big Picture.
The law brings the curse not moses...you are believeing the false prophet that says the blood of Jesus covers sin so that you can live like a pagan...what was the name of the under water dinosaur? they were all called dragons ,when on earth. The condom thing is on you!
Here's a clue for free...True belivers keep the commandments of Jesus Christ and are called Disciples of Christ & they live and act like Jesus did!The rest are noted in mathew 7:21-23.
moses gave commandments to the "natural Jews"or Israel and the law that causes sin...Jesus gave commandments to the church...you did'nt know that??? now you know! 2nd clue for free... YOU HAVE TO KEEP THEM,it's very, very important!peace...
those commandments that moses gave are suppose to be the foundation for a moral life and so on
but the thing about it is true moral christians are those willing to break those commandments when its gods will i think yokeup VFX and those types show that
Those commandments moses gave brought death... noone can keep them, that is why the Jews had to slaughter bulls and goats upon a altar as Blood sacrafices.moses' laws brought a curse on this world, like sickness ,cancers, mental illness just to name a few.Jesus took the curse off of the disciple by sheeding His blood as the last passover lamb. The majority of so-called christians are false. Jesus called them "tares" , false prophets and sons of perdition because they do NOT keep HIS commandments.
LOL. I used to think that sickness is caused by bacteria and virus', cancer by overactive body tissue, and mental illness by chemical imbalance (roughly). But you are right, the ten commandments of Moses is a MUCH better explanation.
Now I can smoke, drink, and have unprotected sex all I want! So long as I have a healthy dose of jesus. mmmm, jesus burgers...
LOL why do i get the feeling your going to smoke(if you smoke)drink and have unprotected sex ,moses or not? Ask your local shrink ...there is no scientific proof for so-called" chemical imbalance"...those that belong to Jesus because they are Disciples, have overcome smokeing(unless it's real cold outside),drinking and perverted sex.The rest are under the curse of the law of moses!
So you're saying Moses gave us cancer and bacteria? And let me guess, the dinosaurs drowned in the flood? Including the underwater ones right?
Man, what good was all the butchery and blood of Jesus if I still need a damn condom? I mean, why the hell should I pay for Moses' f***ups? Sick twisted and sinful people don't even punish the children of criminals! But the bible is moral right? Seems more like God is the most maniacal sadist of all.
Yes, there are a few bad eggs in Christianity, but you can't just outlaw an entire religion. Why not outlaw every religion? The verses shown are from the Jewish part, so why not outlaw Judaism? Why not Islam, Buddhism, Wicca, Hinduism, and the likes? Although Christians have made it easy for us to make fun of them, Christian bashing like this has come way into vogue.
And I guess this means you agree with the video but would just add atheists to the list of criminals? Whew, good thing i'm an Agnostic Satanic Buddhist <-- Google those stats Mr. Keen Research.
This is a video that lack research. None of this was done in the name of Christ. There isn't one quote or stat that the creator gives that indites Christianity is responsible. This is propaganda type stuff. I like the pace of the song though.
This video is good at isolating incidents and condensing them into a nice 4 minutes and 7 seconds. Their is a bigger picture than what this video depicts.
You cannot fault Christianity because some people kill in the name of religion. I noticed that you are a desciple of Richard Dawkins. Do you call yourself 'rational'? Get a brain!
Yes we can. We fault atheists for what Mao and Stalin did. We fault drug users for what a few addicts do. We fault all forms of prostitution for the effects on a few. We praise religions for the kind deeds of a few.
This is the most common form of logic. That's the point! Richard Dawkins? Brilliant biologist but that's about it. I miss your point... maybe my brain isn't as logically sound as yours. My apologies.
Filmfans1961- The numbers speak for themselves. Atheist kill by the millions. Christians can't even begin to compete with this. History has shown atheist as mass murders. No need for Ad hominem toward 'mindinclined'.
This should not only target christianity but every religion out there. Unfortunately we cannot extinguish religion, but we should start with teaching out children how to think ad not limit their ability of critically looking at the world by presenting them a magic solution and punishing them for thinking differently. As Dawkins once said: I am against religion, because it teaches you to be satisfied with not understanding the world.
all religion is based on mans biggest fear death and what happens after ! dont pray and go to hell ! do as your told and be happy ! islam, christianity, hinduism .crush them all ,pursue a faith of free thought
Brilliant video. I came here through your link on Debating Christianity and I agree with you. But I would extend it further to all organised religions.
I don't hate christians; in fact i suffered from their disease for decades. I was totally brainwashed with this sick and twisted religion and it took me 23 years to get rid of it. I pitty them christians in the same way that i pitty cancerpatients.
I hate the religion. I can't hate god for he does not exist. But of all religions I hate Christianity the most, closely followed by Islam and Judeaism. Those religions never brought something good into this world.
OKC was not committed by Christians. Timothy McVeigh was a radical libertarian but did not identify himself as a Christian. He saw his struggle as against government abuse and there is no indication that he did his actions in the name of God.
In fact, he declared himself as AGNOSTIC just before he was put to death.
The KKK and the other criminals you pointed out are like the RADICAL Muslims. Not all Muslims want to blow shit up. Just like the 99% of Christians don't kill people for their sins. The Bible tells Christians to love and forgive people. Therefore the Criminals in your video are NOT Christians. They claim to be but will indeed go to Hell. 1 John 2:9 "Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness."
I figure if you guys are going to be arguing stupid points over and over, you might as well know how to get to the point and stfu.
Just fix the spaces in the URL around. Now maybe all you can just set aside your differences, as no one can prove anything and it's pointless to whine about.
Although I wish Christianity would be relegated to the realm of mythology, I don't think it should be criminialized. It would just feed into their already profound persecution complex and make it last longer. Still, it's a good (and chilling) video that makes valid points. Bravo!
Nope. I'm going on the assumption it was some anti-atheist screed. But it doesn't matter. If this is based on some hateful video against atheists... this atheist has lowered himself (or herself) to the same level as this other video maker. But I guess a reasoned response would be just too boring.
"this atheist has lowered himself (or herself) to the same level as this other video maker."
Not so. Religion inspires and perpetuates cruelty, immorality, violence, hatred, and apathy. Atheism does not. I'm not saying that there are no atheists who are bad people. I am just saying that lack of belief in God itself does not CAUSE people to be bad - the same cannot be said of religion. Find me one atheist who refused to take their sick child to a doctor because they DIDN'T believe in God.
>Religion inspires and perpetuates cruelty, immorality, violence, hatred...<
People do and have done bad things in this world for all kinds of reasons, religion being just one of many. No religion is required to perpetrate hate and cruelty in this world.
Also, I would guess there might be 1% of Christians at the very most who would refuse to take their kids to the doctor. It seems to me that you just hate Christians in general. Pity.
Correction, he more likely hates christianITY in general. Personally, I think atheists need to stop being "above" using equal tactics as theists -- the theists don't feel bad about using weak tactics, and if they can see someone else doing it, their own faults may become more apparant.
Indeed, people will be cruel for all sorts of reasons. So according to you, since we cannot eliminate every single reason, we should not try to eliminate any. Why stop smoking when there are all kinds of reasons that people develop cancer?
And no, your brutish accusation is not accurate. I only hate some Christians; I feel sorry for most.
when you said "Why stop smoking when there are all kinds of reasons that people develop cancer".... you want to criminalize it? Why not anything you don't like or is bad for you? Because that is exactly what you're saying if you seriously want to criminalize Christianity.
Most Christians, whether you like it or not, are decent human beings. And they certainly don't need your pity either.
>Not so. Religion inspires and perpetuates cruelty, immorality, violence, hatred...
Wrong. Only some religion does that. The very foundation of, say, Buddhism is that of peace and nonviolence, to the extent of allowing yourself to be harmed before harming another living thing.
"Wrong. Only some religion does that. The very foundation of, say, Buddhism is that of peace and nonviolence, to the extent of allowing yourself to be harmed before harming another living thing."
Fortunately atheists don't have a 'holy book' that condones and even encourages such things...Christians do. That is why you can attribute such things to Christianity as opposed to atheism.
Commandment 5 is thou shalt not kill. Now are you referring to the people of today, or the people of centuries ago? Because I think this movie is for the latest century.
Yeah, okay. Christianity, Catholicism. We know they're retarded.
Now making a video showing the worst part of the religions, is pretty silly and biased. Then, should someone counter with the epic tale of those atheist kids in the south, that went around killing all the christians in their town, and then finally burning their church down?
Oh gosh, of course not, we wouldn't want to shed light on the budding nihilists that atheists tend to be.
The KKK weren't christian... christians were actually added to the list of people to kill, in the end, for the KKK. Army of God was just a bunch of folks who basically wanted an excuse to kill. They'd've killed anyway, I'm sure.
As for the story, I've got no idea. If I recall, it didn't have a strong historical name or anything, but if you check the Wikipedia, it'd probably be there. I don't care enough to search the wiki.
The worst of religion is really the issue in question. Christian morality or the supposed good that brings is not unique... all moral philosophies can move people towards good.
Nothing about atheism would move them to whatever brash association you're referring to. Christian doctrine has discrimination built right into it. Those kids are most likely responding to the unwanted pressure that christianity forces upon them through education, media, etc.
So you say religion is bad because of a few bad eggs, basically.
Christianity doesn't say to kill those who don't believe in Jesus, they say to try and convert them. If you could show me something in the new testament saying to kill the nonbelievers, I'd eat my internet-hat.
If you're picking on the old testament, you've alreay won by default.
Can be found in the countless passages referring to the death and/or torture (hell) of non-believes. I would cite these but there is too many to count.
All NEW Testament. Tell me again why we should allow these claims to be institutionalized and taught?
The only part of that video I disagree with is abortion rights. No-one has the right to take a life IMHO.
But other than that, yes, Christianity is awful, but in the USA we have the right to worship whatever we want without persecution. One of the few rights that have not been encroached upon.
This is a stupid video and mentally weak. You must be a liberal to believe everything you want to while ignoring facts.

@mindinclined i dont believe christianity is atrocious. people of all faiths do atrocious things but it is not necessarily in response to their religion (except in the case of muslims). where are the videos of christians flying planes into buildings? or stoning women to death? oh wait, there are none.
SRB2288 1 year ago
@SRB2288 Christian's don't fly planes into buildings, they drop bombs out of airplanes - that is much easier. One million civilians killed in Iraq because George Bush had a vision from God (the christian sort). Christians continue to terrorize homosexuals, spread propaganda against condoms in AIDS-infected Africa, and protect child molesters from prosecution. Are you completely blind, or do you just not take one second to consider what you're saying before that s*** flies out of your mouth?
mindinclined 1 year ago
@mindinclined They drop planes out of airplanes? Pretty sure that's our entire country. Or is it not a requirement to be a pilot or onboard any aircraft that you have to be a christian.
And yes, every christian is the same, they're all the same as the psychos at westboro baptist church. They all protect child molesters from prosecution and stand against condoms being used as protection from AIDS. Also, every black man loves chicken, sells drugs, and robs a different house every night.

bombs*
Andybadtothebone 1 year ago
@mindinclined hahaha youre delusional. the bombs get dropped on pieces of shit trying to plant roadside bombs. one million civilians killed is a lot of bullshit. america did not infect africa. africa is a piece of shit because the people who live there wont stand up for themselves. terrorize homosexuals???? america is one of only a handful of countries where homosexuals arent executed by the government. the most democratic and free countries are christian countries.
SRB2288 1 year ago
@SRB2288 oh please. The most democratic and free countries have a separation of church and state (ie. no religion). Thank God for that.

No people claiming to be Christians cause crime and atrocities. Christ himself said they will murder you in my name thinking they are doing God a favor.
Thundralight 1 year ago
You say that there is no rabid anti-religious sentiment in the last video I comment on and then you have a video to criminalize Christianity.
*SLOW CLAP*
You want to regulate BY LAW what people believe, their thoughts, desires, deepest beliefs? What the hell is wrong with you? You call yourself a free thinker!?!?! That's the most disgusting thing I have ever heard.
We have laws, and a constitution, you know.
JohnnieNaked 1 year ago
LOL, lighten up Johnnie. Consider this more of a mockery of the type of logic that is regularly used by Christians to demonize homosexuals, drug use, and alternative lifestyles. I simply used it against them.
Of course the idea is ludicrous! It's supposed to be.
mindinclined 1 year ago
Sorry I am very sensitive about human rights. *blush*
JohnnieNaked 1 year ago
@mindinclined as long as you know you're ludicrous, well, have fun. I would point out that not everyone who says they are Christians really are.
Adolf Hitler was a Satanist, and there is a lot of evidence for that, he only publicly presented himself as a Christian to maintain the support of the German people.
Christian Scientists deny the core tenants of Christianity, as do JWs and Mormons.
You use the worst to exemplify the whole. Hope it happens to you!
redlandz1977 1 year ago
@redlandz1977 Yes indeed, most christians do not commit these awful things, but they do support or even look up to people that do commit them. I would also argue that the fear and brainwashing that all Christians perpetrate against children is horrendous in it's own right.
Of course I use the worst to exemplify the whole. Ridiculous isn't it? Just like arguing that atheism leads to violence, homosexuality leads to depression/suicide, or drugs lead to a life of crime.Does the Medicine taste bad?
mindinclined 1 year ago
@mindinclined Ah, you bring up the stuff I don't do... so, I guess you just assume all Christians do the things you don't like... see, that whole thing goes right back to you. You assume I'm an ass, but in the end, since I don't go around criminalizing gays, saying athiests are rampant sociopaths, or call the police to arrest anyone doing drugs, then all you do is paint yourself is the intolerant, bigotted, and intellectually impotent individual you say you hate. Interesting.
redlandz1977 1 year ago
@redlandz1977 Once again the point goes right over your itty-bitty skull. I never made any assumptions about you, except that you were christian. Is that false? If not, the organization you associate with is responsible for what I say. While Nazi supporters aren't as despicable as the SS or Hitler, they are still despicable for endorsing that group.
mindinclined 1 year ago
No, you did. By making the video, telling the world your thoughts on Christians, and saying they are ALL like that, you open yourself up to responses that say "I'm not like that". It is not an "organization" that I support that has done this. It is people who say they believe the same things I do (but obviously don't). Nazi's, yeah, horrible things they said and did... but plenty of other groups have done the same types of things...
redlandz1977 1 year ago
@mindinclined Why don't you point out the Taliban blowing up the Buddha statues, Shin Inrikyu poisoning the Tokyo subway, Russian Athiest Communists killing MILLIONS of their own people in the gulags on SUSPICIONS of being traitors (or just too smart). Let alone Chairman Mao, Ho Chi Minh, and the Rwandan "Ethnic Cleansing" of the Hutu's by the Tutsi's... but you don't want to think about that, do you? That must have been religion too... oh, wait, except for the communists... huh...
redlandz1977 1 year ago
maybe, but i will tell you that having/knowing the love of Jesus helped them in a lot of ways when they created these organizations
and are you saying that all bad things are done by Religious people, "For good people to do bad things, that takes religion."
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
Nope, not saying that at all. Some people will cause harm no matter what. But for a good person to intentionally cause harm - THAT requires religion.
mindinclined 2 years ago
i understand what you are saying but i think its less religion that drives good people to do bad things and more to do with people that are passionate over sometihng.
ex. i have a friend that gets so upset and angry when ever he loses or does bad in a video game. so because that video game made him change and act different does that mean we should not have video games any more?
religion has he same effect on people. some people get more riled up then others, but that percentage is low.
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
Does the video explicitly say, "please get riled up now"?
mindinclined 2 years ago
i just don't understand your logic?
and if you had to chose any religion to wipe out why not choose the one with the suicide bombers...
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
No where in the video game is there any explicit suggestion to engage in violence or aggression. The game is a fantasy and is marketed as such. The bible is marketed as the unquestionable word of god, and it does explicitly suggest violence and discrimination. What is so confusing about that?
Don't worry, I would include that one too. But Chrisitianity is most applicable in my culture and society (ie, shooting of doctors, protesting soldiers, pressuring laws). It also has the most followers.
mindinclined 2 years ago
o and in case you forgot these organizations were founded under christian individuals:
Salvation Army
YMCA
Red Cross
Samartina purse
Operation Christmas child
there are hundreds of Christian hospitals all over the world. and there are tons of other charities that help children in less fortunate places.
Real Christians are no evil and the problem is you dont hear about all the good things we do, you just hear about the bad things that the radical and confused "Christians" do,
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
I haven't forgotten. But I think they would do good things with or without Jesus. Good people will do good things. But for good people to do bad things, that takes religion.
mindinclined 2 years ago
you cant take the actions of certain individuals that call them selves Christian and categorize us all and say we are like them.
as for the prisoners and how you said 80% say they are christian. the only reason that half of them would say that is because it makes them look better or nicer.
as for the pictures in the beginning with the protesters and the signs about gays.
they are all associated with one small church, they are very radical and in no way represent a true christian.
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
In regard to your first point: we can't? We do it all the time with atheists, liberals, communists, drug-users, etc. If those arguments stand, so does mine.
On point 2, that is completely hypothetical lol. And this comes from a private poll, not a newscast.
On point 3 - they may be a small church, but they embody the actual text of the bible. Which, it is argued, is the word of God. If god encourages the discrimination of homosexuals, shouldn't all christians?
mindinclined 2 years ago
so you are acknowledging the fact that you stereotype? that's not fare or right, for Christians, drug-users, or atheists
the bible is Gods word, and he does say that being Gay is a sin and you will go to hell for it. but he also says that lying is a sin and you will go to hell.
Romans 3:23 " for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God."
we would all go to hell if it wasn't for Jesus.
God also teaches to love not hate that's why this church is wrong.
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
You might go to hell for many things, but only the murdering of homosexuals is condoned in the bible - Murdering liars is not.
mindinclined 2 years ago
its easy to say that. but show me where it says that in the bible? (the murdering homosexuals part.)
bumblebee1616 2 years ago
@bumblebee1616 Leviticus 20:13
EdM021 1 year ago
@EdM021 Romans 6:23
we all sin and we all deserve death for it whether that's lying or having sex with same sex. all that verse is saying is that we deserve to die for that sin just like every sin we commit.
bumblebee1616 1 year ago
@bumblebee1616 Yeah, but nowhere have I found that the Bible actually condones murdering liars the way it condones murdering homosexuals!
EdM021 1 year ago
@EdM021 i bet you don't even know what the book of Leviticus is about let alone chapter 20. In Lev. chapter 20 God is talking to Moses and telling him punishments for any sins committed by the Jews. In this chapter God tells Moses a lot of punishments and a good amount of them end in death.
God created these harsh punishments because the Jews at the time were very rebellious and "immature."

thegoochieguy 2 years ago
I agree that religion is man-made and distorts Truth. In Matthew ch 23, Jesus spoke about the scribes and Pharisees (religious crowd of His day). He clearly rebukes these religious men for they, "shut up the kingdom of Heaven against mankind". God wants only to have a personal relationship with His creation. A loving relationship is only possible when we freely make that choice to follow Him or not. If evil didnt exist, free will wouldnt either. Im curious, what is the meaning of evil to you?
huskerdaisy 2 years ago
Let me start with a caveat that the term 'free-will' does not mean much on its own. The term has been debated and discussed enough to fill multiple libraries, so using it frivolously doesn't really mean much to me.
For myself, evil is primarily ignorance. Ignorance of the interconnectedness of all things (Probably close to your idea of God). Evil is the perpetuation of this disconnect. In those terms, I think, we are actually quite similar. I just don't see 'God' as an independent entity.
mindinclined 2 years ago
Continued- Im not trying to be facetious, so please dont take this question wrong. Have you ever seeked God for yourself? And by seeking God, I mean, no church, no religious people, no televangelists, just you, alone with God and a Bible? Even if you dont think God is real, you can still call out to Him and ask for the Truth to be revealed to you. The things of this world are evil and corrupt (and that includes people). Keep your eyes off the things of this world and upon something Greater.
huskerdaisy 2 years ago
Indeed I have. Enthusiastically. What I found was another part of myself, alive, here, in this world.
I do search for something greater- greater within this world, not hypothetically in some after-world.
It is that same non-provable, non-fallible hypothesis that is used to justify evil and corruption in this world.
We might never agree on the metaphysics, but at least we can agree on reality of evil and the necessity to rid ourselves of it. Though I find religion distorts the meaning of evil.
mindinclined 2 years ago
Im sorry youve been hurt by people claiming to be Christians. Keep in mind, theres a distinct difference between those claiming to be Christians, and TRUE followers of Christ. As a follower of Christ myself, I am flawed, I make mistakes and I struggle. lol. I suppose 'wrong' turn implies I have lost God's direction?
You can enforce morality in the sense of humanity, where harm inflicted on another is punishable. This is not religious. But for the most part, yes, we can do what we want and survive! You realize how ridiculous your claim is? How do you think the rest of nature survives without society or language or religion?
mindinclined 2 years ago
losing his job as Chief Musician? That, I guess would be a question, YOU don't want to have to answer honestly. So I'll tell you and let you think about.....The Creator did, you can argue that point of contention all you want, you have that right, and I'll agree with you, I have no desire to force you to believe in Christ. That's not HIS WAY! Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men;
preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually.
Psalms
MessageMasters 2 years ago
Indeed, there is not all that much difference between us in terms of morality. But the flaws you see in this video (purposefully placed), are intended as a mirror.
You erroneously link evil and violence with Godlessness. Just as this video makes the link with Christianity. Both theists and atheists perform evil acts; both make this world a worse place for everyone. The truth is, we should both accept one another because good people are both non-believers and believers alike.Reach out to others
mindinclined 2 years ago
Let me Clarify, not that you want me too. Are sure your aren't being USED? Who benefits from Christianity be removed from the world scene? Yeah, maybe some got it wrong, maybe they weren't the Christians they weren't called to be; But if Christian aren't supposed to JUDGE....WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT! Nothing shown in this video agrees with Jesus' teaching, not the killing, not Hitler, not the KKK, who benefits from Christians getting the blame for atrocities! Who got blamed for Lucifer,....
MessageMasters 2 years ago
If I didn't know the TRUTH, this would surprise me! The vile lies perpetuated in this video could have come right from the New Testament. The only thing this video PROVES, is that all of Humanity is totally misguided. The out right rebellious refusal to accept what you are, mandates coming against what Christ is and what Christianity stands. Why should we be surprised by such a out right SATANIC attack upon people believing in Christ. After all isn't your "faith" telling you, you are RIGHT!
MessageMasters 2 years ago
The rebelliousness is not satanic. It is merely frustration with dishonesty and false claims of superiority.
My only faith is in myself, and in my ability to make decisions without having them forced upon me by others. Faith in yourself is extremely meaningful. Mystic Christianity favors this point, and I have no qualms with it.
What is right for me, might not be for you. It would be nice if more Christians respected this idea.
mindinclined 2 years ago
Why should it be replaced? Just get religion out of the state and the law.
mindinclined 2 years ago
So we should criminalize ideas? For that idea sir, you should be arrested.
mindinclined 2 years ago
First off, these days thinking about an attack can get you imprisoned indefinitely in the U.S. So thinking about crime IS a crime now.
I agree conflict is inevitable, War-maybe. And it depends on your definition of a computer network! Again, people cause war, not religion. I think that the idea of free thought can work, to a certain extent. No religion should be criminalized though, This video shows how easily people can be led into prejudice based on a small sample. You're no exception.
mindinclined 2 years ago
Big Picture.

filmfans1961 3 years ago

This should not only target christianity but every religion out there. Unfortunately we cannot extinguish religion, but we should start with teaching out children how to think ad not limit their ability of critically looking at the world by presenting them a magic solution and punishing them for thinking differently. genius2687 4 years ago
OKC was not committed by Christians. Timothy McVeigh was a radical libertarian but did not identify himself as a Christian. He saw his struggle as against government abuse and there is no indication that he did his actions in the name of God.
In fact, he declared himself as AGNOSTIC just before he was put to death.
genius2687 4 years ago
The KKK and the other criminals you pointed out are like the RADICAL Muslims. Not all Muslims want to blow shit up. Just like the 99% of Christians don't kill people for their sins. The Bible tells Christians to love and forgive people. Therefore the Criminals in your video are NOT Christians. They claim to be but will indeed go to Hell. 1 John 2:9 "Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness."

Nope. I'm going on the assumption it was some anti-atheist screed. But it doesn't matter. If this is based on some hateful video against atheists... this atheist has lowered himself (or herself) to the same level as this other video maker. But I guess a reasoned response would be just too boring.
JLJohnson650 4 years ago
"this atheist has lowered himself (or herself) to the same level as this other video maker."
Not so. Religion inspires and perpetuates cruelty, immorality, violence, hatred, and apathy. Atheism does not. I'm not saying that there are no atheists who are bad people. I am just saying that lack of belief in God itself does not CAUSE people to be bad - the same cannot be said of religion. Find me one atheist who refused to take their sick child to a doctor because they DIDN'T believe in God.
PuppiesAreYummy 4 years ago
>Religion inspires and perpetuates cruelty, immorality, violence, hatred...<
People do and have done bad things in this world for all kinds of reasons, religion being just one of many. No religion is required to perpetrate hate and cruelty in this world.
Also, I would guess there might be 1% of Christians at the very most who would refuse to take their kids to the doctor. It seems to me that you just hate Christians in general. Pity.
JLJohnson650 4 years ago
Correction, he more likely hates christianITY in general. Personally, I think atheists need to stop being "above" using equal tactics as theists -- the theists don't feel bad about using weak tactics, and if they can see someone else doing it, their own faults may become more apparant.
bcrogers 4 years ago

Indeed, people will be cruel for all sorts of reasons. So according to you, since we cannot eliminate every single reason, we should not try to eliminate any. Why stop smoking when there are all kinds of reasons that people develop cancer?
And no, your brutish accusation is not accurate. I only hate some Christians; I feel sorry for most.
mindinclined 4 years ago
So...
when you said "Why stop smoking when there are all kinds of reasons that people develop cancer".... you want to criminalize it? Why not anything you don't like or is bad for you? Because that is exactly what you're saying if you seriously want to criminalize Christianity.
Most Christians, whether you like it or not, are decent human beings. And they certainly don't need your pity either.
I think you have some serious anger issues, dude.

Fortunately atheists don't have a 'holy book' that condones and even encourages such things...Christians do. That is why you can attribute such things to Christianity as opposed to atheism.

What do you mean, "such things"?
Mightywayne 4 years ago
violence, discrimination, psychological torture...should I go on?

Commandment 5 is thou shalt not kill. Now are you referring to the people of today, or the people of centuries ago? Because I think this movie is for the latest century.

Yeah, okay. Christianity, Catholicism. We know they're retarded.
Now making a video showing the worst part of the religions, is pretty silly and biased. Then, should someone counter with the epic tale of those atheist kids in the south, that went around killing all the christians in their town, and then finally burning their church down?
Oh gosh, of course not, we wouldn't want to shed light on the budding nihilists that atheists tend to be.

I agree.

Which epic tale might this be, and how does it compare with Christian groups like KKK or Army of God?
scafool 4 years ago

Your comparison is feeble at best.

Hatred?
Matthew 27: 25
Jews are blamed for the death of Jesus
Acts 3:14
Peter claims that since the Jews killed Jesus, they have asked for death themselves.

Psychological Torture?
Can be found in the countless passages referring to the death and/or torture (hell) of non-believes. I would cite these but there is too many to count.
All NEW Testament. Tell me again why we should allow these claims to be institutionalized and taught?

The only part of that video I disagree with is abortion rights. No-one has the right to take a life IMHO.
But other than that, yes, Christianity is awful, but in the USA we have the right to worship whatever we want without persecution. One of the few rights that have not been encroached upon.
Btw, what song is this?
jebriggsy 4 years ago
Worship, yes. Institutionalize hatred, no.
The song is "No More Sorrow" by Linking Park

You can still believe whatever you want without having institutions that encourage discrimination, violence, and threaten torture on young children.
This is a video about the INSTITUTIONS of Christianity and not the thoughts or beliefs of people.
