  • tackfull" LOL.

    Tactful.

  • Wait... let me get this straight.

So this guy complains, gets thrown into prison, and now that he's out of prison, he complains about the country that gave him the right to complain?

    lol, k...

  • I bet CNN made up the story about the Saddam's sons stealing the motorcycles than throwing the guy in prison for complaining. CNN are great myth-makers who tell tall tales all day long and call it "news".

  • Its ironic how when the statue fell - the country was no longer in control due to looting and gangs, then a civil war, suicide bombings and a corrupt government (Which now Iraqi-Iranies control).

  • Iraq, Please throw out the banksters since we Americans cant seem to rein in our military industrial complex.

  • Nah, the removal of the statue was staged by US military anyways. And no, this is no "conspiracy shit" circulating in the web. There's plenty of news coverage revealing the toppling of the statue was staged by US troops.

Just search on youtube for "saddam statue fake" or on google.

    LA Times wrote

"It was a Marine colonel -- not joyous Iraqi civilians, as was widely assumed from the TV images -- who decided to topple the statue, the Army report said."

  • God damn on and on all the bastards jiboury

  • CNN couldn't get anymore pathetic than this.

  • Oh, also, the statue would have been removed anyway, he didn't start sh!t.

  • Isn't it ironic?

He complains about the government and goes to prison. Then he complains about the people who gave him the right to complain.

  • Isnt his name Kadhem Sharif?

  • To commissar1215.

If "you" are there to help them to become a free country, why don´t you do the same with all the dictatorships that exist in Africa?I can guess the answer:those dictatorships have no oil to steal. USA is not there to help that people, is there to develope its own economy through big multimillonary contracts for multinational companies from the USA.

One last thing: A country that suffers terrorist acts almost every day isn´t a country about which you can say that war is over.

  • True, with us being the United States, we have the military power to free many oppresed peoples if we wanted to. We could, and should, take down tyrants in the world and free people. Like in places like, Darfur and Sri Lanka.

  • I totally agree with you, Commissar

  • CNN is pathetic

  • Qaffim should be happy about what we are doing, I'm sick of us being over there, but, like Qaffim said, Saddam's sons simply stole his bikes and he wss sent to prison for defying them. We are trying to make Iraq a free, capitalist society so that men like him can run businesses like that without having to worry about things like what Saddam's sons did. We just need to drive out the remainder of those freedom hating, brainwashed terrorists.

  • you totally wrong !

1st his name is kazim not kaffim !

2nd we iraqis though we hated saddam but he was better than invaders 1000s time

    always people HATE INVADERS

  • Is the reason that you hate US troops over there because they are in you're view "infidels" on your "holy land". That is what I have heard anyway.

  • no

im christian but its my country iraq

americans crossed 1000s miles to invade it

now situation is bad christians killed and who protectiong them?only God

and iraqis killed in 1000s every wk????!!!

do you agree if friegner invades you???????

  • @Commissar1215 Don't be crazy, they hate US caz US is occupying their holy land. Simple as that.

  • Iraqi's are angry because their country is still in limbo from being a tyrannical, oppressed state to a free, hopefully non - corrupt state. Future generation will have the luxury of peace and happiness, not these old insurgent loyalists.

  • that is the biggest bull that I have ever heard. I have never heard of a canadian goin to the states for medical care, if it happens well I am sure that the canadian government would pay for the procedure. Your governent has let you down time and time again, from the lack of medical coverage, to being the biggest pollutor and for having the highest crime rate in the world per capita, just in homicides, The usa has 20 times yes 20 times or 2000% crime rate per capita than canada

  • the september 11 2001 sympathy that we all had is now gone. With the George Bush agenda the invasion of 2003 has backfired bigtime and instead of giving its citizens national healthcare and social programs, Bush prefers to bomb nations around the globe with no valid reason.

  • As much as this war has been screwed up- strategic mistakes and billions of dollars mispent- I am glad we don't have national healthcare and even more social programs. We have floods of Canadians coming into this country for healthcare that is superior than theirs. (Ask anyone in Michigan, New York, or anyother border state.) And how many more social programs do we need? I believe in a social safety net, but not having the government do everything for me.

  • We do have socialized healthcare, run by big governments that go by the name of Aetna, Blue Cross, etc. These companies run socilaized health insurance for maximum profit, which means its unaffordable for many people. So many people don't get routine physical exams which would prevent even more expensive medical conditions. So, when someone has a stroke that could have been prevented, their care, paid for by Medicare, is even more expensive than if we had national healthcare for everyone.

  • this just showed how Americans fucked up the situation. Saddam should have been taken down, obviously, but if they were going to get involved they should have been more tackfull, and put an iraq flag over the statue's face and not an american one.

  • they actually did put an iraqi flag over the head, an older one that predated saddam's reign before the statue fell

  • konigkass talks as if he's been there. Well, I have been there, and we only blow up mosques that are full of terrorists that are ACTIVELY shooting at us! All the laws of warfare allow us to do so, if the mosque is being used in this manner. In reality, the Sunni's are blowing up Shia mosques.

  • there's no way only 100,000 troops can secure the borders.

  • If you want the violence to stop, TELL THE AMERICANS WHERE THE TERRORISTS ARE!!!!! They know who they are, and where they are, but say they are too afraid to say anything...we're not leaving until it's under control, so maybe he needs to get off his fat ass and help.

  • Lick many windows?

  • I'm not surprised that he regrets that now. The war isn't over yet. Violence is still going on. But 10 years from now, he won't regret it because the war should be over by then and Iraq will be better than it was when Saddam was in power. He was hoping good things would happen instantly but that isn't how things get done in this world.

  • This isn't a case of a war with an enemy that can be defeated. America's entrance into Iraq has only irreparably destabilized it.

  • Thousands of years from now iraquis will regret the usa illegally invading and occupying their country..... depleted uranium lasts that long, and the usa has given iraq a shitload of it..... Fool.

  • Well you're replying to a comment I made over a year ago. My views on the war have completely changed since then. Ever since I read the book "The Confessions of an Economic Hitman", I now understand how our corrupt system works.

You can call us Americans fools all you want....the fact of the matter is, us Americans are deliberately being lied to by our corporate owned, government controlled propaganda. It's very difficult for Americans to know what's REALLY going on over there, because of it.

  • Americans? not really as America is a continent and NOT a country. Im glad you changed your opinion by informing yourself.... hopefully the empire will crumble down in our lifetime giving the world an opportunity. We need a global revolution.

  • Comment removed

  • Umm No.... NORTH America is a continent....

The people who live in the United States of America are called Americans....those are the people I was referring to....

  • this is stupid. He says he would rather have saddam back? What a fool! he goes around his neighborhood, and see's damage..well duh! You cant make am omlet without cracking a few eggs! Saddam is gone now! that's what it took. clean up the neighborhood and get on with life.

  • Just look at what you americans do there, torture, bombing mosque's , shooting at random people on the streets in iraqi clothing those hell-a-nice pictures of tortured "terrorists"

"In order for an society to exist, there must be an global enemy for that society, or it has no reason to become an society"

Now where dous terrorism put that?

Terrorism is a creation of the western world, that we are now forcing upon the islamic countrys, and as we all know, monkey see monkey do...

  • @koningkaas screw you, you didn't lose anyone on 9/11 and its certainly not your country that saved the world from nazism and communism.

  • @paleocon23 wow this comment is 3 years old, xd lotsa things happened since i made that comment..

That being said, i have family in america who has been affected by it... also.. nazism was (partly maybe mostly) given rise to by america and co.. hell you guys even had a nazi party in america... funding both side's of the war and all that..

But, i can see how the comment i made might be offensive , i was 17 years at the time so i've grown somewhat :p

  • the statue of liberty, lol. simeetg he said; better the devil you know than the devil you dont know.

  • He was a Chalabi stooge. The entire event was staged and CNN was complicit in the lie. They lack the integrity to admit it and instead publish this crap.

  • Staged just like the toppling of statue: gathering no more than 300 "paid" Arabs (half not even Iraqis) to march to the square and make noises. Cameras zoomed close enough to have everyone in the picture frame but the reality was a view from farther down, it was obvious, the square was 80% empty. It was clearly staged for American public and the world. Keep up fooling yourself.

  • Why not hate both devils?

  • The Iraq War was a pre-packaged corporate lie to the American people. Look at the pictures of the VIP ward at Walter Reed and the other wards. The American people should be outraged, and they are growing more so everyday...
