  • omg! the man in this is called Ian Smith .. my dad tought him to drive hes a great actor and he saw me preform at the sheffield crucible . and this advert is brilliant ! cereal for the win

  • If you want to, we can bring survival into all of this. I would rather save an animal then a human? Would that make me sick? No! Because Humans kill animals so why should I save a human?

Obviously he likes cereal more than the baby and rightly so. Who gives a shit about the baby, let it die. Cereal for the win!

  • 0:33 how did he get up so fast?

  • If anyone lives in west michigan or the surrounding area i wouldnt eat this cereal because managment makes us run cereal with bugs in them or expired cereal. I know cause i work for them.

  • The baby was saved so just shut up, seriously! :P

  • Maybe he's just a superhero who demands payment in crunchy nut.

  • Put a black baby in this trolley, and this advert becomes racist.

  • LMFAO!

  • Does anyone know the name of the brunette in this video,is she an actress?

  • i actually pissed myself laughing the first time I saw this ad. When he just turns round holiding the cereal and not the baby :P

  • Get over it - the baby was not harmed in any way. It's completely editing.

The bit when the baby goes down the stairs was green-screened, an effect used to add the fake background while the trolley and baby were just shook in reality in front of a large green sheet. Get over it - and Crunchy Nut rules!!

  • Kellogg's products are not safe. My child died from eating them

  • don't worry about the baby though!!

  • I'm using this ad in a assignment, after the 10th view your seriously sick of it -.-

  • the funniest bit is his cute nervous laugh at the end

  • the baby does a well cute nervous laugh at the very end. listen closley and youll hear it.

  • This is an advert made for the UK market but if you study it closely it is not made in the UK (Sunny weather and left hand drive cars) Very Strange!

  • That BEST ad of all time!!!! And such a cute baby!!

  • Battleship Potekim via way of the Grand Union Station in de Palma's Untouchables. Was that anorak enough for you? lol

Thought of the Moment: The most difficult thing in the world is to know how to do a thing and to watch someone else do it wrong, without comment. -Theodore Harold White, journalist (1915-86)

    Oops. I commented. Failed again.

  • How bad wud it b if da trolly went dwn wid da baby init....after he saved hiz crunchy nutt.....hav 2 sayy It wud hav been awfull....

  • I enjoyed this advert. Can't stop laughing.... The man loves de crunchy more than Bebe.

  • lol this is probably they funniest ads ive ever seen

  • See in th UK you will get slapped 4 that and shouted at and probably punched

  • i love the babies little snigger right at the end

  • Crunchy Nut or Baby??? CRUNCHY NUT EVERY TIME!!! :D

  • the baby is the cutest thing in the world!!! I do get y ppl r freaked out but i never even thought of it that way, they didnt make the baby cry like in the nspcc ad's u think those r real life captures?! erm actors lol

this ad is too funny i cnt get over the cute baby and his 1 tooth hahaha =D

  • Haha what a genius advert, and wow people it's not as if that would actually happen, the baby was fine...

  • i dont like this ad especially when babies are used this way

  • Its only a advert...the babys a dummy!

  • I'd save the baby and not the crunchy nut EVEN though it is great!!! =)

  • You lot have a had a serious sense of humour bypass,

Jesus this advert is a joke

the baby obviously wasnt put at risk

I think it was a really funny idea its harmless, those of you who are calling it child abuse go join a charity and volunteer or summin instead of wasting your time on something that has nothing to do with it.

FuckSake have a sense of humour

    i love this advert x

  • the baby even laugh... he finds it funny too.

  • it sucks :|

  • i think the people saying that this advert is bad are idiots. any way. did u see when that lady came down the stairs. bouncy bouncy

  • This advert is really clever, people who say it's bad are the one who probably don't have feelings. Because i understand what that felt.... chasing the baby in the buggy... and then suddenly he was actually chasing crunchy nut which is the humor!

  • Obviously you have no idea that this advert is paying homage to one of the most famous scenes in film history, The Odessea Steps sequence from Battleship Potemkin. The same thing happens in the film, a pram accidentally rolls down the steps with a baby in it...only theres no crunchy nut involved and no-one saves the baby. So stfu and stop your pathetic complaining. It's a great ad, and a great movie!!!!

  • This advert is the fucking best i have ever seen! it is amazing, whoever came up with it is very smart.

  • You people seriously need to chill the fuck out...its an advert...like the baby was actually in the trolley on the way down....have a sense of humour

  • I fucking agree

  • i honestly dont care whether the kid was hurt or not because obviously he wasnt, but like.. the concept behind the advert is fuckin disgusting

"oh yeh who cares about ur baby? let it die, just save ur cereal"

  • I agree. It's insane. When I saw it was was like... WTF!?!?! You save a fucking cereal but not a baby? Choosing a human being over some dumb shit you can go and buy whenever!?!?! FUCKING IDIOT!!! Yes, the concept behind it is very disgusting.

    Then minutes later... I lol'd..

I have mixed feelings about this advert. Lol.

  • calm down, im pretty sure this didnt actually happen...

  • @Mongoose015

Are you retarded. The baby didn't fuckin' die. He saved both the baby and the cereal. It's a win-win. It's intended for comedy, and if you cant have a sense of humour, then seriously, GTFO the internet for pete's sake. It's annoying to hear such shite - seriously. It's also a parody of a film called The Odessea Steps. People need to chill the fuck out - This ad is just genius.

  • @UrbanGamers I know the baby didn't fucking die. Hence why I said the CONCEPT. And I do have a sense of humour, but this advert is shit.

  • @Mongoose015

Look dude - its the best you can get. They got lame adverts like the "Go Compare" ad which just fuckin' makes me wanna go on a killing rampage and gun down that fat bastard. In comparison to that, this is a bit of an unexpected ad. It never tells you that its related to cornflakes till the end so a bit of suspense there for a first time watcher.

  • this advert is SICK. take it off the TV now. Think about the adverts by the NSPCC about babies and children in dangerous and violent situations - you are making a joke out of that.

  • People saying that this is wrong, look at the kids face at the end he is having a great time loooool

  • Like he knows what the hell is going on. When he lands on his effing face, I bet you won't see him laughing then...

  • If he picked up the crunchy nut then Falcon punched the baby into the ground yeah I'd agree that's dodgy, but he saves the baby too...

  • This guys in my history class at college!!!!

  • Chill out you bunch of nanny state losers, its an advert, its not real, you sort of people are what has made the UK the joke that it is now.

  • I have started a 'cause' on Facebook called Stop the Kelloggs Advert for Crunchy Nut "Trolley" if you want to let others know this is upsetting. Maybe it will get Kelloggs attention??!

  • well obviously the baby wasnt actually hurt, but i dont like the CONCEPT of this advert. fucking disgusting i hate it.

  • I think Kelloggs Crunchy Nut took it too far this time. I really dislike this advert because its simply wrong. What kind of human being would choose to save a box of cereal over a young child. I understand that it is only a commercial and the baby obviously wouldn't of been harmed or put at risk, but its the concept. They took this 'crunchy nut obsessiveness' too far.

  • They are trying to convey their whole "ridiculously tasty" idea, and this... Does portray that idea very "well". It IS fucking ridiculous yes!!! That was the whole point... But it's sort of crossing the line a little, but still that was the idea... That people would go to such extents for "chrunchy nut".. Clearly showing how TASTY it is. Ridiculously tasty. I doubt any one in their right mind would actually choose their own child over a box of cereal even if it tasted like heaven or whatever...

  • @SuperMarshmellow19

the thing is, he saved both the baby and the cereal

    its a win-win

    dont worry, be happy :P

  • OMG. how sad can some people be. it's an advert. they child was never hurt or in any danger what so ever. sad sad people. people want to get all up in arms about something so stupid. GET A LIFE & STOP PISSIN & MOANIN. IDIOTS

  • The whole concept behind it, that's what's upsetting people about the advert. OBVIOUSLY we can all see the kid wasn't hurt. You can't look beyond that and think about the concept behind it? God. I find it funny, but I do get why it might be upsetting as well.

  • lmao. too funny. cute baby.

  • If this was a muslim woman with a hi-jab and the man was running with full fancy dress on trying to catch his kid and pulled out a large carton of unbongo there would be hell on ..

  • ...Klea, i hope u get to read this at some point, my name is Homy, the guy u meet in Queen Mary, u never explained what i did wrong to u, if i had done anything worg Y DID U DELETE ME? :( :( :( i done nufin...if i have hurt u in any way im sorry.

  • OMG, that girl looks so much like Klea...the girl i met in Queen marys uni in the Principal talk, she accepted my friend request on facebook and then she deleted me the next day and also blocked me the same day in the evening. I dont understand what i did wrong to her?...

  • stick a little black baby in that trolley and it would have been classed as racist. stupid politically correct britain, can show a baby risking its life while people laugh at it, but cant show other reletively harmless tongue in cheek things

  • i'm sure if this was a dog running through a carpark and tumbling down the stairs there'd be complaints, but because its just a kid everyone finds it hilarious. Its a sick ad, they get away with it cos its a cute kid. I wont be buying kelloggs now

  • I totally aggree with you sir. This is the point ive been trying to get through to these mongs who say this is cute and funny and hillarious.

  • @mrchrisdavies Dude chill out - Your using this small problem as a way to target a bigger picture. Calm the heck out. Its intended for comical reasons, to promote the product and its also a freakin' parody of a scene in the film called The Odessa Steps. Just calm it right - seriously. Making such a big deal out of a funny ad. If you have no sense of humour, and cant accept a bit of "danger"-like moments, you seriously need to consider watching more mature content cause theres worse stuff.

  • @UrbanGamers Ditto. Except the scene is called "the Odessa steps", not the movie. The movie is called "The Battleship Potemkin" and was directed by Sergei Eisenstein. (Yay for Russian propaganda!)

  • its great. nowhouse knows nowt bout anything.

  • its an add chill i luv crunchy nut and i probs wud have chose them too lol

  • the mother is stunning

  • look at the childs face at 0:38... what a cunt

  • lol haha

  • my sister was laughing her head off when she saw this,,, she couldnt stop laughing.

  • this advert is sick and vile - i complained to ASA when I saw this

  • Haven't seen this on tv yet.

  • I know the guy in the advert lol. He's an adult learner in my history class haha

  • This is sick. I mean i know this stuff dosent happen in real life but it still symbolizes that the guys an obvious prick whod spare a box of cereal for a baby. I mean how fucked up can ya get.

  • uneducated people. how do you get by in life........dumb

  • You calling me uneducated

  • I don't know whether I find it funny or scary - I assume that JWT would've taken care making sure the baby actor was safe.

I think I'll watch it again to make my mind up

  • love it!

  • all of you with this baby abuse and dangerous locations, shut it, its an advert, its funny catchy and the baby is frikin cute,

    i love it.

  • Oh yh...this rocks!

  • ..this hilarious it makes me laugh so much...all of them are so funny.....

  • this is the funniest crunchy nut spot for years. hillarious

  • So it's edgy. That's good. I think this will be a classic.

  • Borders on child abuse

  • Hmm... not sure whether JWT got this completely right this time. I like the Crunchy Nut ads - generally it's a good continuing conceit. In this case I think you get it well before the kiss off and babies careering across dangerous ground is er, dangerous ground in my view. Plus I'm not sure whether the talent's up to much this time around.
