Plowed Bike Paths?? Well you are two up on us here. We have no bike paths and we are lucky if the secondary roads are plowed the same week as a snow fall.

Man, that's MY bike commute! I ride the same path year round but I keep going till Lakeside St. February was one rotten month for bike commuting. It convinced me to get a studded front tire. I'm trying to document my own commute for Trek's "1World 2Wheels" bike advocacy campaign. Yours is better. This year I won't let the snow get me down so much. Thanks for the inspiration.

Dude, I live in southern california and I get comments from coworkers all the time about how I will not be able to ride in the winter.

then I remind them that there are MANY people like you who live in cold states who ride all the time. they quickly shut up.
