Is the Maxitrak 7 1/4" Peak still available? It doesn't appear on the price list!

you should take a look at our class 66, all steel body and chassis.

looks good but models should be made of the same material as real thing, the miniature steam fans do it with live steam why can diesel fans?
plastic and battery powered?!! ok for electric loco not for diesel hydraulic.
Its depressing that the model world is falling by the wayside, we need actual engines and steel stressed skin bodywork with proper framework.
I bet it costs about £1000 aswell!
my 5" live steam cost much less and took 3 years to build, but is scaled down version of real one.
