I've never met someone so connected to their instrument as Scott and his guitar. He's a mean self taught guitarist. one of the best of all time as far as I'm concerned.

oh to comment on SRV videos....most were just private venue archive, which came to light after his passing....the Montreux videos seem to do him more justice as actual intentional recording .
You're welcome Freebird, it is so true though, it is hard to watch "professionally" done dvds of artists like SRV, etc. Even the new creek vids that aren't done by you don't show them soloing, just the artsy standard of never showing the musicians play. Oh well I'll stop ranting. I came on to say I love Mercier's look over at Scott after the solo haha.
Thanks Marcus, you're the first person to comment on any profficiency in my documenting, I appreciate that . It was a great performance, and both Scott and Mark screamed for attention during their runs.
Freebird. This is amazing, thank you! I have almost all the SRV videos released and it is always so frustrating to watch them...when they should be showing SRV rip a nasty solo they are showing the bass player, or the crowd, or SRV's face...I mean cmon, we want to see them playing their instruments! Very well done bro, very well done.
2 Sony Digi 8mm cameras for this recording..unfortunately the exposure ratings weren't matched...but I felt the audio was pretty decent , mixing the audio from both cameras....and the music ran through the balcony, shaking the cam on the tripod mount slightly...(note to self haha)
This was alot of fun to work on.I used two cameras, one on a tripod, and one on a monopod which I kept in hand.
Knowing which band member will sing next,or which one will take the next solo, made this video very rewarding and successful to me.
It bugs me when I go to a venue that shows an angle up on a screen of the entertainers, and the operator doesn't know their subject,or spends an entire solo focused on someone else onstage.
