Hello. Just two little observations:

1.In the original song, the chorus "oh girl...." is played: Eb-Gm-Fm-Bb7. In your transposition G-Bm-Am-D7. You play it G-Em-Am-D7. This lacks the smooth soft sliding sensation of the chorus.

2.The part between 1:17 and 1:40 is played in the original song: Fm-C-Fm-C-Fm-C-Fm-Ab and then the chorus. In your transposition: Am-E-Am-E-Am-E-Am-C. Not playing the C at the end lacks the "tension" before the smooth sliding sensation (touching the girl :-P )

Thanks. You could do that but you would probably have to find a more suitable key. And some bass notes would have to been octava.
