@MoepPoNk I have everything on different layers, meaning I have the lineart on a separate layer from the colouring, so all I have to do is go to the coloured layer and erase everything that's outside the lines without disrupting the lines themselves :)

@chocowafflez12 don't, the lineart is nothing special and coloring like that digitally literally takes like one or two tutorials and a month of practice.

@aceandalsostuff Well thats a lie ;) It takes years of practice to perfect any medium of colouring both digitally and traditionally. Tutorials only teach you so much, it takes time to perfect how an artist will interpret the digital tools and use them to their fullest.

@HanaSanForever Sorry, what do you mean about the background? And about the colouring inside the lines, I separate into a lot of layers to make things easier, and once i'm happy with how it's done, i apply the image on photoshop so that it's all on one layer. Then I can move Miku around without disturbing any other part of the drawing. It's kinda hard to explain but the key is to do everything on separate layers. Best thing to do is to separate your lineart from your colouring layers at first.
