I was up the steps up the back. This was all very entertaining but that aside, the sound was fucking awful (the worst i've heard at the uea). With the massive catalogue of hits they have, everybody decided to jump up and down (not mosh) to that fucking terrible terrible song, country girl. That song brought with it a more mainstream audience and a load of fucking twats that didn't give a fuck about this great band, but only went because they know this song from the charts.
Bobby is a legend and Mani even bigger haha that cunt gettin thrown out he mustve been gutted but I've seen primal scream 3 times and Bobby was pissed makin an arse of himself on stage every time and he sounded like a bad karoake singer gotta love him though MY LIGHT SHINES ON !!!!
overreaction on bobby's part. the guy at the end is an arsehole, Bobby's older and more mature than he was in the mary chain, but at the same time it was daft: there's always beer throwers at gigs. if beer got on my pedals or my amp, then sure i'd be fucked off, but you got to live with things like this. Bobby G's been in the biz a long time, im surprised.
I wasnt there, but apparantly what happened was someone threw a cup of beer at Bobby Gillespie, so he walked off stage,and then Mani threw his plectrum at him.

I was there too. Bobby Gillespie and Mani both crack me up. Great gig overall too, although Kowalski and Kill All Hippies wud hav topped it off!
