@toxickatie I remember these awesome women from when they made me laugh back in the 80's Gilda married Gene Wilder and they made the 'Woman in Red' together and Madeline was in 'Clue' with Tim Curry etc...
@ITHEREONETHATHASNT Apparently radner and Kahn would write skits for him and he wouldnt even look at them because he didnt think woman were funny. Jane curtin said this on oprah only six months ago.
I've heard Gilda and Madeline were both funny. I'll always remember Madeline as "Lilly Von Schtupp," from the 1974 movie "Blazing Saddles." RIP to both these victims of cancer.
Two of the greatest comedians since Lucille Ball. Both gone far too soon. Madeline Kahn should have won an Oscar for her hillarious performence In Paper Moon. Then there is Gilda,I grew up watching SNL and the original not ready for prime time players and none of the cast members that followed could hold a candle to them. Thanks to them all for so many great memories Chevy,Jim.Dan,Jane,Loraine and our beloved Gilda you were my favorite then and still are.RIP Madeline and Gilda
@tripjet999 While I don't disagree with your suggested course of action, it is worth noting that these two fabulously talented icons died of ovarian cancer, which has little, if anything, to do with tobacco.
I really can't say that there's anyone that talented or funny today. Frank Caliendo comes close, but not close enough. I don't think it's just nostalgia speaking theirs is just a case of pure raw elemental talent. I miss them both and wish they would come out to play with me in my dreams tonight. I would love to perform with them.
Thanks for putting this up on YouTube,,, The queens of 70s comedy at their best... Proof that there is no god in heaven... these women were taken away far too soon and we need them now
We need a Madeline Kahn biography!!!!!

Both killed by use of the illegal weapon of mass destruction known as the tobacco drug.

Brilliant. They were both just so naturally funny.
Most female "comedians" nowadays have to talk about their sex life or trash on some celebrity.
RIP Madeline and Gilda! We miss you oh so much!
