I liked the movie. the chick with the white hair is super hot. but the kid in it sucks dog balls. They CGI'ed his staff stuff. Was neat to see the shaoin kids performing Louhan and Ditang quan for about 30secs halfway through the film though.

On a side note I like this song.

the tale's all twisted from the legend it's based on, for example the Monkey King wrecked havoc in the Immortal World, so in the end Budda had to stuck him under the Mountain until the Tang Monk came, rescued the Monkey King and along with another 2 apprentice to find the Buddist scrolls (like parts of the Bible in Christianity).

But hey! The Forbidden Kingdom is equally good :D
