  • It's just met or even the choreography has a message, LOOK in the beginning The blond girl (the stereothypical -conventional norwegian girl) is in the middle! then she recieves Stella like saying "Welcome to Norway, In my country everybody is welcomed to make the great nation is today".

  • @bitterbeat ummmm ok O.O soo true!

  • Norway MUST go to Final. I am sure Stella could be in top 5 in final.

    Greetings from Turkey.

  • Cool thing Stella released a non-european language on Eurovision!!!

  • The clapping of the watching is completely out of time...

  • @JandroCdh Listen to studio version of "Popular" by Eric Saade and compare it to his live performance. Why the juries let him into the final?

  • Habbo.no :D

  • I still cant believe that dind't made it truth the final.. My real winner! :D

  • haba Haba is my favourite song among all songs in Eurovision 2011.

  • In fact this song should get into the final! The melody is very good and it is a very happy song. I hope people will accept this song. But I agree that Stella could sing a bit better though I don't think she sang bad.

  • norway !!!!! 1000 thumbs up better than lena

  • All the haters can keep hating! All I can say is... HABA HABA, HUJAZA KIBABA!!!

  • Loooved this one! Better than "Waka Waka" .. Im sorry you guys didnt make it to the final =(

    - 12 points from your neighbor - Denmark!!

  • a black Norwegian?

  • @mrstreetlightman There are a lot of black Norwegians. We are multicultured society, and we do not support racism. So, yeah. A black Norwegian isn't something new.

  • @Sloppern Implying that i do support racism? I just found it interesting. There was nothing racist about that. So, chill out it was a fucking joke.

  • @Sloppern African and middle eastern people in Norway can be Norwegian on the paper but will NEVER be true Norwegians.

  • @Twiggyay Of course they are xenophobic! And unfortunately I could be too if ever go there and anyone else that wants to be Norwegian can be by just making it legal. Sorry for you but it's called civilization. Now go back to your grave Hitler. ;)

  • @contarino1988 How about preserving some of our own? why does the world has to be one and the same wherever you go?

And why is it only white countries that are being overrun by immigrants?

  • @Twiggyay Because most of us did better cause we had more opportunities. Of course that if they are illegals I'm ok with deporting them but if they are decent people that wants to work, do it legally and the country is good enough to support some immigrants (as Norway totally is by being one of the best countries to live in), what's the problem? In my country happens the same, but the difference is that many people from other countries come ilegally, asks for free money and even steal...

  • @Twiggygay ... that's not good, but if they're decent what's the problem? You should even feel honoured that your country is so good that everyone loves it there and would love to live there. Even I would love to live for a while there. You should be more tolerant cause that way of thinking won't take you anyway. Good luck!

  • @contarino1988 Most of the immigrants in Norway are Muslims. The way they grow in numbers and demand more and more scares me, the nation is losing its identity and will gain a new one in 50 years or so, one of a Muslim nation.

  • @Twiggyay I know, as I said, it happens here too but one thing is to say what u just said which is fine and another one to say "Immigrants will never be real Norewegians", THAT is not good. :S

  • @contarino1988 If i were to be a citizen of China, would i be a Chinese guy?

    No.

  • @Twiggyay Of course you would, cause you would live there, know their culture, their language and respect their laws and origins ans I could if I wanted. The problem is if they do it legally or not. And what's the problem if they don't want to be "a norwegian guy" as you say? Why can't they live there just cause they admire your country? Of course there has to be some control and not the whole world can live there but of course that the ones that are already living there are are truly norwegians

  • @contarino1988 Chinese citizen does not equal being a Chinese person. I would not have black hair, slanted eyes and their skin colour, i would still be a Norwegian who happens to be a Chinese citizen.

And yes, i would respect their laws, know their language and respect their culture, but can you say the same about muslims coming to Europe?

  • @Sloppern You're so "multicultured", you've allowed the hordes of Muslims into your country. Enjoy watching the rape rate go up & having homosexuals attacked in the streets. Don't believe me? Let's talk about gay rights & women's rights in the Muslim world. lol

  • @mrstreetlightman I'ts the new norway

  • @mrstreetlightman Ja, tenke seg til...

  • @mrstreetlightman Stfu, stupid racist -.-

  • @mrstreetlightman LOL !! Racist joke are awesome !! XD

  • I agree with @JandroCdh on this one.... Live version sucks

  • I love the scream at 0:17

  • she says - potsa sta kimata??? in greek language the potsa sta kimata is "dick in waves"!!!!!!!!!! :D :P :) !

  • @im1am1sell1crazy007

    Hello.... this is a error!!!

She says HUJAZA KIBABA..... and not "POTSA STA KIMATA"

No problem for the greeks EAR people ;)

  • you are right jandroCdh

  • this song suck balls hard

    HABA HABA IS VERY WONDERFULL

  • Please, vote in my channel (Eurovision 2008-2011)! :)

  • NORGE! NORWAY!

  • This is soooooooooooooooooooooo norweagen.

  • 23 people never had Haba Haba before...

  • love this catchy song!

  • this song shouldve qualified. perhaps her vocals are a bit dodgy but who gives a flying fudge? :D i think this song is unique, happy and so much better than Azerbaijan's depressing durge. tbh, most of the good songs didnt qualify (norway belgium bulgaria) all the songs that were moderately different and unique flopped whereas the typical crap (sweden azerbaijan ) were successful. and i thought eurovision was getting more "with the times" when lena and maNga were high in the leaderboard last yr

  • Haba Haba is one of the best entries Norway has sent so far. "Fairytale" and "My Heart Is Yours" is the MOST cheesiest songs that I've ever heard from Eurovision. I'm glad Norway decided to send something different for a change. It's an upbeat, energetic song which the crowd automatically starts cheering and standing as soon as her voice echoes through the arena. The haters can continue trollin', 'cos they'd be hatin'!!!! One of the best songs and performances from the First Semi. SO SUCK THAT!!

  • I don't understand why a lot of people on here against this song. It's not your typical Eurovision song that's about love or peace or break ups - it's a positive sog with a meaningful message that's saying to take life one step at a time, be who you are, never give up and keep on moving. Stella Mwangi can sing, her voice is unique and different. Her live performance was the best out of everyone that night... watch the performances and you'll see only everyone standing and cheering for Stella...

  • I don't know how Eric Saade made it to the Final and came 3rd and Stella Mwangi not making it to the Final. Popular is the most cheesiest song with a singer who couldn't even hold onto his notes...

  • Even I can write a song like that ... she repeats a million the same stuff -.-'

  • @Nuggi2001 Heh. To be fair, the reason why over half of the Norwegian male population was glued to the television when this song played wasn't because of the song. :)

    Stella. <3 <3 <3

  • @GluttonForSex YEAH they just care about the lady... the song is just lame

  • I voted for this song from Turkey :/

  • sounds like playback

  • She sing too much Haba Haba Haba Haba Haba Haba and that is boring, only music is good!

  • i understand haba haba punchas akibaba

  • love the song and the story behind it but they should have gotten a better lead singer.

  • She's of course lovely girl but song is just crap. Worth nothing to listen to. After those 2 great song (I mean, 2008 - Hold on be strong and 2009 - Fairytale-not my personal favorite but, it was ok) i expected more from Norway. I hope for better song in Baku.

  • @PoiroT139 Totally agree. However, the thing that ruined the song even more... is Stella's voice live.

  • Haba Haba, Boom Boom, Quele Quele, Dum Tek Tek ... what the Fck ... can't people write normal songs anymore O.o ??

  • @Nuggi2001

Well.... just so you know.... Haba Haba means step by step in Swahili. Düm Tek Tek is the sound of drums in Turkish. Qélé Qélé means come on. They mean something THAT way, and I bet that if the song was called "Step by Step" you wouldn't be saying "can't people write normal songs anymore O.o"

Boom Boom is the only not normal song... that has nothing to do with a meaning.

  • @Demian10x But they repeat the same thing a million times the same thing on the song ... some songs on Eurovision are just lame ... -.- like Norway, Armenia, Sweden --> I will be popular(x4) OOWAH

  • @Nuggi2001 Yeah... "I will be popular" (XD)!!!!!

  • @Nuggi2001 jan jan always fckn' armenia :D

  • why not in the final? :( I LIKE IT SO MUCH..

  • she can't sing

  • overpromoted. Im not racist, I have respect to other cultures but this song reminded me of Waka Waka in the first 15 seconds and to be honest, it was quite boring, repetive, had a weak vocalist with a big attitude.

  • @Estonian4life And "Rockefeller Street" sounded something from Glee... that's not a compliment btw

  • @jPod07 what does rockerfeller street have to do with anything??? i was commenting on THIS song.

  • Tusen takk av de tolv poeng, som ga oss en endelig.

    Varme hilsener fra Finland :)

  • Listen to the studio version, compare it to this live performance, and you'll have the answer to why the juries didn't let her into the final.

  • @JandroCdh

Stella came 9th by the televoting. The Jury placed her 17th. You will see the difference between the televoting and the Jury voting. The Juries sent the songs which was most likely to FAIL, despite the FACT some got low scores in both the Semi and Finals by televoters and guess what? THEY FAILED IN THE FINAL TOO!!! The Jury are just as untalented professionals as Zac Efron's and Vanessa Hudgen's singing career...

  • @JandroCdh I think she had a great live performance

  • @JandroCdh

Than you must sing it in live because you might be sooo talented. -.-" Idiot.

  • It was my favourite in first semi final songs.

  • Was so a nice song ,so different to the other´s ,so nice Lovin`it <3

    Greetz from Austria

  • this is mya favorite song in this year for ESC 2011!!!

    it must in FINAL!!! :D

  • haba haba punchas akibaba

  • Great song!! At least it's happy!! :D. Bring more diversity and happiness to Eurovision!! :D

  • BEST PERFORMANCE!!!

  • SUCKS balls and im from norway, denne sangen er en skam

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • Should've qualified. You can hear the audience cheering for her during the voting results... :(

  • It should've made it all the way to the Final.

  • Thumbs up i you think the jury was stupid when they stopped this from qualifying! Go Stella! <3 12 points from Sweden!

  • @MrMystery2123 sweden gives 12 points to norway? very very very very wierd.or not?

  • 7 points from Poland!

  • THE BEST OF ESC 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • stupid lyrics...I hate it...

  • @XSunacX Stupid song, full stop.

  • It was a very energetic, fun song. Not a winner, but should have been in the final.

  • if it had been in the final i think it would have won HABA HABA!!

  • Excellent!:)

  • Deserved for final! Oh, yes! SURE! LOVE IT♥

  • HABA HABA INJUST...................... STELLA
