Very good!! :D I'm finishing year 12 this year and wanted to see some past work, this is really good! I was wandering what kind of camera did you use? Its a very clear image (even for youtube quality)

@TheZephyrGal Thanks heaps! :) Glad you liked it! I used a Canon XH A1. It was a great camera to use, youtube made the quality so much worse though than what it looked like originally :(

your film was awesome ^_^ i cant believe you got to film at a hospital aswell thats awesome, im doing year 12 media this year and ive just been watching a whole heap of past student films, what would you say was the hardest part of media 3/4 and the easiest parts?

@randompeople14 Hey! Thanks heaps :) I'm really glad you liked it, that means a lot. Yeah, I came across some really lovely people who let me film there. I was really lucky, cos I contacted about 10 or so hospitals before they actually gave me the chance. I'd say the hardest part of media is your major production, because it's very time consuming and there's a lot of stuff to get done. Make sure you put in consistent effort with it throughout the year otherwise you'll be stressing like crazy.

@randompeople14 cont.. I'd say the easiest part is that there's not too much content on the theory side. There's only three areas of study for the exam which is comparatively a lot less than most other subjects. Although I think the theory can be quite tricky at times, the amount of theory is definitely an advantage. Let me know if you have any questions with the theory, I'm tutoring some people for media (theory) just before sacs and stuff so I still know the content. I'll send you my email! :)

@Lozwige Cheers :D umm well I contacted about 10 hospitals and thankfully I finally got hold of some really nice people who let me film there. It was probably the hardest part of pre-production. Getting the locations sorted. I go to Padua College btw.

December 1st is when the shortlist of the top 40 films is released and then mid january the final 14 films comes out. So I'll keep you posted if it gets through.

@ashleelukas Thanks Ash :) I was so scared you wouldn't like it. I have a certain technique I taught Caity haha. Don't blink for ages and it makes you cry. That crying scenes took about 8-9 takes before it looked how I wanted it to look. Trust me, the quality is appalling in comparison to the original movie file.

Her crying I think is the best part of the film- it looks like...I can't even think of the words. It is so damn powerful. Don't even doubt TopScreen. I'm seriously not even kidding. Like wow.

I think my film is so bad. I used it as cartharsis and like bah, im terrified of TopScreen. You will get shortlisted. There is no doubt in my mind. It is seriously the best year12 film I have seen so far- and I have seen so so so many. My hobby is watching them. I could watch this all day <3

@ashleelukas I like the word cartharsis haha. I used it in the extended response in the media exam haha. You seriously must have only seen like 2 films or something! There's like 10 other films that are in a league of their own, mine doesn't come anywhere close. And they're just the ones I've seen! haha.
