  • at the beginning the host mentions shaker heights, which is a suburb of cleveland. back in the day when cleveland was bustling and prosperous, all of the wealthy steel tycoons would travel back from the city into shaker heights, which used to be a residential area stuffed with mansions. i live in shaker heights! but all the rich people have left.....

  • I'm confused. Wouldn't the Director of the U.S. Mint be a "T-man"- as Arlene puts it?

  • It's wonderful to watch this show!

and all the famous people that have made their presence felt.

  • I always like when the contestant is from a branch of govrenment, and the panel asks if he or she works for a 'profit-making organization' the audience giggles, groans, oohs, etc.

  • or 'non-profit' in this case.

  • Mr. Brett also appeared alongside two impostors as a contestant on the Aug. 23, 1957 edition of "To Tell the Truth."

  • This sort of WML sequences fascinate me. It is interesting, it is educational, it is amusing. Today, where does the director of the Mint appear on TV aside from the Sunday talk shows or the various cable news networks . . . if even there? So much of the federal government never show its faces. Thanx for posting.
