Very powerful - made me cry... Please tell Sharde - her ancestors must be very proud of her : ) I'm so sorry for all the suffering and injustice caused by my (English) people .... They started the oppression which is still going on in America today. I hope ( Please God !) to get over to Mississippi for the 2012 Hill Country Picnic so maybe we'll meet then .... Love Kassy : )

...was seeking Blue Mother Tupelo stuff and found this amazing tune by Sharde Thomas. I can't express how wonderful a song and performance this track is! I hope (with fingers crossed) that the CD is independent of RIAA affiliation because I want to buy it! (I'd be EXTRA happy if I could get the album on vinyl!)
