@ConnorNTB hopefully im not too late to reply, seeing as you said this 2 months ago. pop in disc 2 and install both programs. after that, you can either make a new character or wait 2 in game days and you will get a quest notice.

u would expect more from oblivion then what it gives i just got the game of year deluxe and ive never seen a game that dont include how to get to the other addons like shivering isle i cant believe i have to come to fricken youtube to try and find shivering isles that is so gay

i bought oblivion for 360 then bout shivering isles downloaded it and when i try to play shivering isles at the main screen it says downloading extra content, i waited for 24 hrs and nothing happens any ideas??

I have the PC version which I torrented and it came with the plugins. Every one of the plugins were fine, and journal entries were added for each, except Shivering Isles. I even waited 24 in-game hours, and still nothing. What happened?

but nothing looks different and i have no new map things or quests so what do i have to do to reveal the quest cuz i followed this vid and went to the water part there near bravil but i still cant find anything

and like i said, i got the GOMTY edition so it came with a second disc with the add ons

after you install this add on and the patches necessary

you should wait a day in the game and a message should appear saying something like

"a strange door has been reported near bravil" or something like that

this marks it on your map near bravil in the middle of the water

if that doesnt happen then something has gone wrong so idk

the shivering isles is a add on that comes wit the game of the year version(GOTY) if you aint got it then you aint gettin ti the isles. sory dude

My map didn't show me were it was. I have Oblivion GOTY and have it installed. DO you have to have all the oblivion gates down or something? Cause I havn't even started the main quest.

just keep playing for a few days and one day the message will just pop up randomly. i did and when i fast traveled to imperial city it worked. and no you dont need to close the gates or anything.
