  • Sounds like you have dedicated many hours to get it technically correct which is great, but sense of time is very poor in comparison. WHEN you play something is much more important then WHAT. Evan's had both equally strong but less notes with great timing always wins over more notes and poor timing

  • Dear 2xlbu4u

    Thank you for you comments.

I think I have to play on the beat. I have to practice to play with my foot moving on correct periodical timing, for example. I will to try to improve according to your advice.

  • @jazzfunk2 Do You have the MIDI File for it? That way you can slow the tempo down. This will help to practice timing when you are not rushing. I have a MIDI that is very close to original if you need it.

  • Thank you for you comment

I bought the CD from the web site of otonanopiano

and bought the book scored by Mika Tsuruno

  • Thanks, where do you buy the cd and book from?

  • This is very good but there can only be one Bill Evans.

  • Thank you for your comment. I just started to play piano since I wa 46. Playing Autumn leaves like Bill Evans is a kind of my dream. I began to join a session, recently. Altough I cannot play well, its fun very much.
