Schneider's embouchure looks like an upstream embouchure. The predominance of the lower lip makes the air stream get blown up as it passes the lips into the mouthpiece. Players with the anatomy that is suited to this embouchure type are less common than the downstream types, but it's absolutely correct for some players.

It does look a little wierd, but I think it's normal. It's just hard to tell where his lips actually meet.

His lips do meet, but it looks like he uses more of his lower lip then his top lip...kind of unusual for a horn player. Very nice tone though!
