  • wow i cant believe i almost cried

  • Perfection.

  • This is a real musician and not only a player.

    Bravo maestro Schneider

  • Schneider's embouchure looks like an upstream embouchure. The predominance of the lower lip makes the air stream get blown up as it passes the lips into the mouthpiece. Players with the anatomy that is suited to this embouchure type are less common than the downstream types, but it's absolutely correct for some players.

I show other examples of this embouchure type in some of my YouTube videos for the curious.

  • AWESOME:-P

  • I can't find the words to describe it...

  • did anyone else find the mouthpiece placement as weird as I did? He has a great tone but still :-)

  • It does look a little wierd, but I think it's normal. It's just hard to tell where his lips actually meet.

  • His lips do meet, but it looks like he uses more of his lower lip then his top lip...kind of unusual for a horn player. Very nice tone though!

  • whoah yea I see what you mean. It looks kinda just like his top lip slipped below his top teeth er something lol.

  • yeah... it's because his wife punched him in the lip the day before. true story

  • Stunningly beautiful.
