Towards the end of this clip, Bruce says that the species has been healing well for thousands of years. However, you only has to study history to see that the morality rates were huges! Before science, no one survived sickness, for example, Marcus Aurelius have 12 children but only one survived into adulthood and this scenorio was very common so I reckon that Liton is just spouting off the top of his head on that point.

I have to disagree with Lipton about Prozac. Prozac is similar in function to MDMA, but only very mild, and definitely works! Also, Terence McKenna used to argue that prozac worked and Dennis McKenna says similar things. The problem with Pzac is that people who have never taken any kind of drug always sound like Bruce Lipton. They think we are all on placebos!

He's another guy who very effectively calls into question the basic assumptions we have held for so long, and shows us new, sensible ways of understanding what's really happening in life.
