  • great video...very helpul

  • I have Dolphin Browser HD on my Nexus S and I love it!

  • Laggy

  • that phone is so small, good thing you can zoom.

  • iphone responds much faster this has a little lag

  • 666 videos---EPIC WIN

  • Where do u download this from? the browser or the android market and is it free?

  • Really stupid question, but how did you get the left sidebar to go away? It simply won't disappear in landscape mode on my Streak with 2.1.

  • My fiance got a Motorola Droid about 6 months ago and I just got an LG Droid Ally. We have both noticed that we can not watch video clips on some webisites. Specifically MSN.com. Is this a setting or is a function that is not available? Thanks

  • Where is the clipboard

  • is it free on the market

  • I'm getting one when I upgrade. Which browser is better in your opinion?

  • How do you hide the top panel?

  • thanks a lot for your time.

  • How and where do u get this browser?

  • @THEKING15145 -just go to the android market and look up dolphin browser, its free

  • You can win Motorola Droid at gsmGift. com/droid It's your lucky day! excellent video

  • Is it possible to start each web page with the full page view? I have the nexus one & the android browser gives you an option for full page view, this one I have found it doesn't. Is there a hack or an add for this for dolphin?

  • Wow this map is great. Keeps Iphone Fanboys from whining about not having multitouch on the Android Devices. Apple patents suck....

  • two reasons i was hesitant to get the droid pinch to zoom and the hard keyboard. took a look at a desplay modile, not a problem for me. now dolphin thanks now im glad i ordered it

  • I think I'm sold on this browser. At first, I was hesitant but after seeing it's capability for scrolling between multiple open windows and the customizable swipes (not to mention pinch zoom), I became a believer. I just hate to have to re-save my bookmarks.

  • You didn't even show that you can swipe between different web pages....FAIL.

  • @cknight91 that is a new feature not in the one he is doing.

  • looks like it has a little bit of lag

  • @harry8856

Wow. He simply points out that there is a little bit of lag, and everyone thumbs down it? people can't even mention their opinion anymore without people booing it down. (I am not particularly a fanboy for any one company, because i find that whatever product I like is what I should get. Not because of who made it.) Lighten up people.

  • i was just saying what i noticed

  • And I was telling you I thought it was stupid that they thumbed down your comment.

  • ty.....

  • @harry8856 there has been many updates since this video and there is a lot less lag now and the pinch and zoom works as competitively as the 3gs.

  • @harry8856 it does in this video, but i downloaded it on the droid at the verizon store to test it out, and it works fine

  • is the browser free?

  • yes

  • @exev3 i heard iphone has something where you can make your own finger commands, or wait droid does

  • wow thats really cool!

  • Is it really that damn choppy?

  • Great review, great browser (seems like it anyway :P )

  • i don't know what's so big about multi touch, i've had an ipod touch forever and I can't remember the last time i used it instead of tap to zoom, but that's a pretty nice browser, I'll definitely check it out

  • Supports multitouch? Nice. That's all I needed to know.

  • apparently motorola droid does not have finger smudges proof screens...

you would think that we are about to hit 2010, that should be a default for all touch screen...

    go figure...

  • Its true. The DROID seems particularly bad with finger smudges.

  • this is why i love android! with android you basically don't have to settle with anything! great review!

  • With that being said, I have switched to Droid and love it since I think it only makes sense to be able to chew gum and walk at the same time which my iphone wont do. Even if it means chewing a less glamorous piece of gum.

  • All the talk about lag. The iphone does lag at times as well if you try to make it do too much at once. Its less prone to because its not designed to do alot at once. Focusing all its attention on one thing at a time. Which is a good thing. It jogs at a steady pace so less chance at stumbling. Devices like Droid are willing to risk stumbling in order to jog, juggle, feed the baby etc.simultaneously. Iphone does what it does great and so does Droid considering what they are designed to do.

  • Android entered in the retail market too soon i think. Looking at the OS versions before this 2.0 they just look and work like a beta test unit or a RC at most. Hope that future versions of Android come smoother because even with the snapdragon processor of this droid it just isn't.

  • I hope that the future improvements don't just stick with the menu bars and the rendering. I still think that android its globaly a laggy OS. I mean, i worked with an iphone and walk arround a bit with a webOS Pre, and i just cant find the smoothiness or the "organic" working of those 2, expecialy the IPhone ! Like it or not, What the IPhone do, it does like no other. Admit it, Apple simply did it and there's nothing anyone can do about it, at least till now.

  • *Facepalm*

    You fail.

  • *Deskhead*

    Big time.

  • thanx mr. burn

  • looool

  • uh selecting text...been there buddie

  • ...................................

  • Did I say it was the first product ever to do that?

  • @mobileburn o dam smart lol

  • i just heard theres gonna be a 2nd droid for verizon wireless you might wanna check that out

  • is the browser slow, are you are using a wifi connection?

  • I was using an EV-DO 3G connection.

  • is it always that laggy?

  • Yes. On the Hero it's just as laggy.. The default browser's pinch to zoom is much better.

  • are you using wifi or 3g?

  • Using 3G

  • laggy

  • why cant we disable the text adjustment on the browser, i hate on the hero and roms how it feels clunky and laggy because it adjusts the text for you

    i hate this

  • last

  • Lol browser! I gonna get this right naow!

  • This pretty much clinches it for me. I'm getting a Droid when my 'new in two' comes back around in January. Aw yea.

  • I don't like this phone.... I find the keyboard hard to use... but the Dolphin Browser is GREAT!

  • Comment removed

  • quite laggy....but competition is a good thing
