Sasusaku is truly a possible couple, if not maybe a little bit confusing. Though it may not be the most obvious couple, there are still subtle hints. If Sasuke does not love her, he atleast cares. After all Sakura is always by his side and never judged him. Sakura may be weak at somtimes, but shes smart, and she knows whats right and whats wrong. She slowly began to understand herself and matured, and truly fell in love with Sasuke. Sasukes mind is too shrouded with revenge and blood-lust.

I like it. In my opinion that's how the series actually has it. Sasuke likes Sakura, but he thinks she likes Naruto because he sees how close they are. Naruto is his best friend, so he wouldn't interfere with them. Still though, he's jealous and he thinks Sakura just pities him. That's why he hit the apple out of her hand when she was cutting it for him. He wanted her to really love him, but all he got was pity. And then he challenged Naruto to show Sakura he was better, but he lost.
