Live music is only good when... you know, you're actually there. If you listen to it like this, then you mainly hear the crowd. If you're actually there, it's waaayyy better. Like I was at the metallica concert in portland last year, if I watched it on a video it would be crappy, but it was great.

On a couple of occasions he strained his voice (no wonder) and his vocals were compromised... but 99.9% of the time, he's spot on perfect. The dude's a legend. Nobody can match his power. I saw him in Boston recently (the first time through) and he nailed Slaves & Bulldozers. No doubt he's awesome live.

Chris is an amazing singer. The video doesnt have the greatest sound quality, and the acoustics of the room are distorting his voice. Give the guy some credit, I think this was right around the time he had to get vocal surgery done.

Its just the video...i have been to 4 small audioslave shows, and chris sounded perfect ( and i know music, in many bands etc)...then i bought a bootleg high quality dvd, and he sounded off...whenever chris cornell is videotaped shittily it sounds off but its not..believe me
