  • shit i can´t even watch the trailer..

  • i saw this movie first time when i was 10 and i still remember it as it was yesterday!! : )

  • again why am i seeing the hulk??? O.o

  • I liked this film a lot, until the end with the final monster they have in it. No spoilers, but it's disappointing at the end. But at least it's a good ride before then.

  • This actually looks decently thrilling

  • Is this the movie where the people get pulled into the other "ghost like" dimension and get tortured, but nobody can see or hear the them?

  • This movie wasn't that scary...it was just gross. But the clip after the credits really creeped me out, especially the doctor closest to the door.

  • @sasusanemo yea it was not really scary but atleast it was a good movie in my opinion

  • My mom went to see this after i was born, it scared the shit out of her; and thats why she never watched a scary movie again

  • @xorterenshe it actually is a little supernatural, as we are left to presume in the ending scene

  • um clássico um dos melhores filmes de terror que eu já vi

  • i love the story :DD it's one of my favorite movies ^^

  • ive been looking for this movie forever! i saw this when i was 10 and it scared me shitless. time for me to get scared shitless again 7 years later

  • best horror movie I had ever seen!!

  • The black dude and the lady survived and I think won 1,000,000 $ haven't seen it in a while

  • Ughhh the white thing in the basement that shakes its head really fast made me shit myself.

  • Strangely, the Vincent Price one wasn't supernatural at all. But I'm glad this one is.

  • SPOILER!: the black guy lives!! :DD

  • @Taylorbthedreamer123 damn now cos of your comment, I know now black lives ;l

  • @icedilli25 meh I still watch teh movie even though I've seen it countless times lol

  • im only 12 and this movie kept me up at midnight for two months and is the scariest movie ive seen <:O im so fuckin scared god fuckin damnit man

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! IS....... WONDERFULL.. I LOVE, YES I LOVE <3

  • This movie is seriously messed up but it's very interesting at the same time.

  • I was only 7 when I saw this at the movies and I wasnt scared it was a good though

  • this is one fucked up movie. first time i saw it i was so scared to move from the chair i was in cuz i thought i would of got fucking killed or sumthing

  • The last time I watched this, I was like 9ish. The one part that I still never got over was how they were doing the surgery and then looked back...................

  • lmao i remember watching this 10ish years ago when i was like 11... scared the shit out of me. i've never watched it since and after remembering it and looking it up to see what the big deal about it was, i still wont watch it. even the trailer is messed up!

  • I was 9 or 10 when I first saw this movie and it scared me to death. I had to sleep with my lights on for 3 years after watching it .

  • @LilMissAnchie lol. same with me! well, actually i was seven that time...

i don't know why, but suddenly i remembered this movie yesterday and decided to check it on youtube :D

  • the part where they all look up at her when she's filming them always freaks me out lol

  • hey wait a second... Jacobs ladder demons?!

  • the part where they find the discarded video camera that shows the blonde girl getting basically dissected while alive off screen made me void my bowels ERRYWHERE

  • the monster at the end i dont find scary its just the rest of it D:

scared me shitless as a child

  • I actually prefer the original. It was a lot more simple and the plot was totally original. This is a great movie I just like the first one better

  • This movie is the reason I have messed up dreams 12 years later.

  • this movie is awesome.....i remember watching it with my mates for the first time when i was 9 at midnight....we were scared shitless lol.

haven't seen it in 10 years gonna get it on dvd cant wait

  • this movie was actually alright, why it didn't come out on Blu Ray & yet its piece of shit sequel did i'll never know

  • the first half of this is good, there was so much potential, but the ending was out of a kids film

  • Every time i turn on my camera at night i keep thinking about 1:11 its f'ing me up

  • from the director of Scared to Death, Creature/Titan Find, and a few episodes of the Freddy's Nightmares series.

  • i saw this last summer, really creepy.

  • not a bad trailer might watch it

  • This is how to do a remake. Take notes Micheal Bay matter a fact just slit your own throat.

  • Really bad remake.

  • seems silent hill got its title from haunted hill. although i still wish they made a sequel to silent hill. anyhow this seems interesting i might just watch it. if you add best actors + directors + make up artist you got the best movie in the house.

  • @tenshi239

They are making a SH sequal. But I wouldn't get your hopes up; it's in 3D, written by a different person and Bassett is the new director. And he is also trying to appeal to a 'wider audiance', not just fans of the game.

  • Never, ever, ever turn around when you know there's something behind you. That makes them REALLY mad.

  • I couldn't get over that one doctor on the security tape.... the way he walked....

  • @metalixmillenium15 - Yeah, that's the one part that really creeps me out still to this day.

  • @glows Haha same. It's the only thing I remember from the movie :P

  • @metalixmillenium15 i still wonder what happened to him

  • @metalixmillenium15 i thought it was just me! thank god haha.

  • @metalixmillenium15 Dr Vannacutt syill freaks me out more than any other horror movie character, anything to do with mental institutions and surgery when there is no anesthetic really creeps me out

  • still*

  • sera q é real?

  • this is THE scariest movie i have ever seen. the movies itself but also under the sercmunstancies i saw this.... OMG

  • the cool thing i like about this movie is that it reminds me of music videos by tool

  • Most people don't know, but the corpses in the glass containers, are in fact real people. They took them out of a museum and used them in the movie. They are called, I think, Cadavers in Art.

  • I watched this movie on a plane and the kid next to me almost died LOL

  • Michael jacksson at 1:33???

  • @Ztaarrr fail.

  • i bet that Ali Larter loves Black

  • Scared the shit out of me. But they did a good job with Geoffrey Rush's character, he looks a lot like Vincent Price.

  • I actually loved this movie. Famke was what kept me wanting to watch it!

  • this remake is really good. they kept the touch of terror (i was actually scared when i watched this)

"return to house on haunted hill" just fucking lame though.

  • Shitty*

  • It looks like a shorty remake of the really good old version. Although the old version sucks in terms of special effects, it was still amazing. Especially with Vincent Price in it. I'm not even gonna waste my time watching this remake.

  • @slipknotlover1 i really think u should consider watching this, the movie isnt bad, this movie accually scared me when i first watched it, its a really good remake, dont judge a book by its cover

  • Ali Larter made this movie AWESOME i love her

  • fuck jeez i finally watched the movie and it was great. and the black guy didn't die. so now everyone can stop telling me! haha

  • @kray1192 yeah it was a good one and this was a remake of the old one and the old one was in black and white

  • gotta admit i luv this movie!! its the only one thats made me scared and ive watched the saw ones(wich were more funny than scary)!!:D

  • this iz ma favorite horror film

  • *[SPOILERS]*

loved this movie but i hated the characters so much and the ones i liked got wasted and the assholes survived at the end! still a nice creepy movie though

  • ive never seen this is it good?

  • This movie fucked me up as a child.... I was like 9 when I first saw it....

  • @ClayBasham Same here, first horror movie I ever saw D:

  • @ClayBasham i was 10 lol

scared the shit of me then, and it still creeps me out now lol

compared to most horror movies of today. its just mostly gore and no terror. know what i mean?

  • @Emblemz i kno what you mean. they focus too much on the gore and pay not enough attention to the horror. that's why i love this movie. scared the nigger out of me when i was 7 and still creeps me the fuck out x]

  • @ClayBasham dude same...

  • @ClayBasham Same here i was 12 when i first saw this movie......i thought i was gonna have a heart attack

  • @ClayBasham I was like twelve, still got fucked up

  • @ClayBasham i was 6 when i saw it my biggest mistake ever :( that doctor creeps me out dude ...

  • @ClayBasham yep im 8 and my favorite movie is this 13 ghosts and the grudge series O-O its so not girlish or 8 year oldish im so wierd O-O

  • amaizing film :)

  • Just saw the sequel and I wish I had seen this first : //

  • to me, it isn't scary anymore...it's simply a classic!!

  • @1SpeedDean Same here!!!

  • This movie was amazing when it first came out....and it still holds up like 11 years later!!

  • This movie is the only scary movie that scares me lol

  • @AntichristUtubeStar me too :D XD XD XD

  • Unless you're too modern for your own good, watch the original, please. It's better. The low-budgetness is kind of funny now, but try your best to see WHY it scared people.

  • Geoffrey Rush = Vincent Price?

  • Thumbs up if this movie scared you shitless

  • @smithdude101

Two thumbs up. Just watched it and now I can't sleep. Fuckin Hollywood haha.

  • this looks nothing like the old version. O.o

  • epic film.

  • This movie does a C-C-C-O-O-MBOOOOOOOO BRAAAAKER and THIS is the only movie I know it does(probalby the only one

  • Lol this movie was actually really good until the end. The "I'M ADOPTED!!!"

  • HOLDDDDDD, MOST PEOPLE ARE DYING TO GET RICH AND THE OTHER ARE STAMPEDED BY THOSE TRYING TO GET RICH....WHERE IS THIS HORROR MOVIE...IT'S REALITY

  • Jeffry Combs is the shit.

  • i watched this movie and didnt sleep for weeks when i was a kid, this movie was mentaly disturbing

  • When I was 12 this movie was really scary, I watched it again recently and was nothing special. Not bad as far as hollywood horror films go, however the ending was a bit overdone.

  • SPOILER!!:

lol oh ya the black guys stays till the end HOLY SHIT THIS MOVIES NOT RACIST!!

lol I remember this movie imma watch the new one cause this one was kinda entertaining

  • this movie was fucking awsome! soundtrck and all near perfect

  • This movie was awesome physcological metal illness!!

    the haunting SUCKED!

  • I can't believe my parents let me see this movie when I was 9.

    I loved it though :P

  • THIS MOVIE AND THE HAUNTING IS WICKED!!

  • hey does any1 notice @ 0:44 that rollercoaster is the hulk ride :O in universal coz it has a launch part on it first lol that really funny XD

  • They don't make movies like this anymore.

  • OMG i remember watching this when it first came out with my friend we were only 9 it was scarey but now when i watch i laugh at how i used to get scared watching it lol

  • The part with the blonde holding the camera on the doctor, when he's not actually there, but then looks at her through the camera, always freaks me out so badly. Definitely one of the better horror remakes, though the ending is not very satisfying in my opinion.

  • this is one of my fave movies of all times!

  • I saw this movie when i was a little kid...i didn't get scared by horror movies then but this scarred the shit out of me...

  • @oOUrSuOo LOL. i watched it with my brother on halloween on scifi. i was only eight so it scared the crap outta me too. i was partially hiding my face with a blanket. lol. My mom had no clue we were watching it......well until i started having nightmares about it. lol. i did the right thing.......i told her my brother made me watch it. lol. this movie brings back so many memories. i think ill watch it now.......with my eyes open. lol. peace.

  • @TomGirl456 I think what scared me most was the fact that the house was a sanitarium.....i kinda have a thing for those places...

  • @oOUrSuOo lol. any place that has history and is dark scares me.

  • let me guess...the black guy dies first doesnt he

  • @kray1192 - Actually, no...

  • @glows hes iether the last one to die or the only one that lives

  • @glows :O SHOCK HORROR

  • @glows

    A miracle!

  • @kray1192 He and Ali Larter are the only two that survive. He doesn't die.

  • @winterathouston so do they get the million dollars? or what happens to them? becuse i noe her sister goes into the house after her...

  • @musicaddict1234 They actually get $5,000,000 and the movie ends with them on the ledge wondering how to get down.

  • @winterathouston but in the second movie do they explain what happens to them?

  • @musicaddict1234 A bit, I believe. I think the sister of Sara does say something, but I don't know about Eddie.

  • @kray1192 he is one of the 2 that make it out alive :)

  • @kray1192 no :P he dies second xD

  • @kray1192

    He actually survives...

  • @kray1192 he'll survive!

  • @kray1192 he survives :D

  • @kray1192 But the second movie the black guy dies first.

  • @kray1192 he actualy survives in the end with the lady lmao

  • @kray1192 one word: RACIEST!

  • @kray1192 naw he actually survive till the end and is the only one left with the blonde girl :D

  • @kray1192 No, the black guy lives.

  • @kray1192 he actually survived the whole movie.

  • @bigddagenius no he didn't

  • @JoshBroz yes, he did. the black guy survived the whole movie.

  • @bigddagenius oops for some reason i thought you were talking about price

  • @kray1192 he survives it! xp

  • @kray1192 well really the black man lives XD

  • @kray1192 That's pretty messed up...

  • @kray1192 but in some movies that always happen D:

  • @kray1192 hmm... I wonder what happened to him... :) whoops CHA CHING :D

  • @kray1192 colored people never dies first

  • @kray1192 Um.. no. He actually is one of the two survivors.

  • @TheOtherEssence Although I've seen the movie but you just kinda wasted it for people who havent lol

  • @kray1192 nope u need to watch it i just got done watching it

  • @kray1192 suprisingly he survives x]

  • @kray1192 Yeah, He's one of the Two To live.

  • i saw this movie and it is fcking scary!

  • Hm...I liked 2/3 of the movie. The whole atmosphere was mind blowing. The last third is just ridiculous in my opinion. The terribly created smoke monster (which reminds me of Lost :D) destroyed evrything the movie has built up before.

  • Another appallingly bad re-make. Why can't these people invent something new? Not surprisingly a big flop.

  • It's a great film

  • kinda remindes me if " amusment "

  • i saw this and the sequel i liked the first one better

  • Yeah, the second was more action than horror... Both great movies though.

  • saw and loved it im just mad the chris kattans character dies and that james marsters is only a camera man and only in like the first scene at the amusment park

  • this movie is brillant

  • I got nightmares after I watched this movie... about seven years ago or so. Wasn't scary after a couple of times watching, but the movie is really good.

  • I saw this for the first time when I was thirteen and afterwards I swear I could smell blood everywhere O_o The Darkness was the scariest; I wish I could remember what he/she said

  • Actually I like this movie very much. Apart from some tiny mistakes, the overall balance is quite enjoyable, thanks to Geoffrey Rush's great acting. The sound editing is also mesmerizing.

  • it creeped me out when i first saw it......10 yrs ago

  • Great film with a great creepy and unsettling atmosphere. (The interiors of the bowels of the asylum just ooze with creepiness.)

This is one of the few films that is better than the original. (To add to what's already been said, the original's only worth was that it had Vincent Price.)

The only problem with the movie is that the ending is lacking.

  • Tim Burton's "Batman Returns," even. I found this movie @ MovieWatcher(.)US

  • lol i watched it when i was seven and it wasnt scary its a good movie though

  • Ahhhhh! Should I watch it or not!??

  • Watch it!

  • I think we're giving the originial a bit too much credit. IMHO the originial is not a very a good film. Honestly, the only thing worth watching is Vincent Price's preformance. If it wasnt for him, the film would be forgotten totally. I actually favor the remake in this case. It's cheeky, but enjoyable. Just a great escapist horror film, and good way to kill an hour and a half. Plus the characters are fantastic. And the ghouls are really something to see.

  • Scared me really bad i lov it but has a lot of language that girl w the camera scared me to deatg

  • honestly, if this house on haunted hill really existed, i'll go explore it!!!!!!!! =D

  • @1SpeedDean money or your life ..dumb

  • @1SpeedDean Lets say it did.I doubt u will be so happy when u enter it :P .

  • im mad that james marster was only in the begining as a stupid camera man

  • dat wuz da scariest movie in da world like i watchd it but i like wuz scard 2 go in my room and go 2 sleep

  • the original 1959 version was SO much better.

I like this one, don't get me wrong. but the original was scarier. but not in the 21st century kind of scary, where theres blood everywhere. you never saw anything in the original, but it had me jumping.

    it was AWESOME.
