  • Great documentary! However, a few details missing. The ancient river pointed out by Dr. Gupta is actually the river Saraswati mentioned in the Rig Veda whose current dried up form is the Ghaggar-Hakra in NW India/Pakistan. Also the origin of the drying up of Saraswati is more likely tectonic (earthquakes) in origin rather than climatological. (See Michel Danino's "The Lost River: On the trail of the Saraswati".)
