A NEW LOOK FOR A CLASSIC SHOW

I saw the original many times, even saw the show from backstage once. Slick and brilliantly minimalist. Not my favorite director for this revival...his shows always seem like they belong in a theme park.

I loved this version of "Dreamgirls!" I was too young to see the original but I caught a revival in the 90s and of course the movie in 2006 (was that when it was?). Anyway this revival was FANTASTIC!

I hope that it's been filmed and will be released on DVD. I'm surprised that the soundtrack hasn't been issued on CD. I hope that it will.

Since the OBC wasn't complete, the 2001 version was so-so, movie version was too different, we fans want a complete Broadway Recording!
