emo is a very unfortunate phycological abnormality. it is when youre entire life revolves around self pity. you dress and act in a manner that makes people question you in order to be more self pitying and to justify it, thus putting youre self in a never ending loop. for those "emo's" who would denigh it, they are not emos. they only act like them for popularity and social statement.

I'm pretty sure the term emo is a commenly used word in other places, I've seen it used by americans on message boards so it's not just Aussie. Oh and I think it means emotional as the emo is depressed to a severe degree but they also show that they are depressed.
