I need not drugs nor any other stimuli to please me like this music does. Gold Panda really does paint soundscapes unlike other artists do. He doesn't need ambient and minimalistic song writing to convey mood; his success is in the chill as fuck beats and the words that come from the lack there of. Beautiful really. Considering this album is a mash of 3 separate EPs and it all fits wonderfully together, I have to say that I am looking forward to more from this artist.

Any preference that you have intellectually will obstruct and interfere with your musical experience

Music doesnt need lyrics. Tbh, todays mainstream music is so focused on songwriting that they really dont pay attention too much on the music part. Its moreso literature then actual music. Music like this gives off vibes and emotions and that perfect sound can get you into that perfect state that can really make you stare off into space and just think about anything that pops into your head. Music like this is more interpersonal.

But this is just my opinion on this type of music. :)
