@George6360 don't get me wrong, I adored Elvis...as a little girl I thought that if only I could meet him, he would be in love with me, marry me and I would deliver him from his demons. I don't know why he took them, but they killed him....and that broke my heart.

Elvis lives on in my heart and soul his music gives me joy & pleasure for evermore..i was just 17 in London,when he bade farewell. That memory is etched in my mind. His music played on right thru that August night. His magic, his voice & handsome face I grew to adore as I walked the streets of London between the holidays from boarding school. Great track.
The picture at 1:44 has been computer colour altered. This is supposed to be the white Prehistoric Bird jumpsuit with blue puffed sleeves. The red sleeves do not exist.
According to Sean Shaver, Elvis' unauthorised photographer, Elvis did not like wearing red.

Hj tenho 36 anos, não fui da mesma época do Elvis, mas hj ouvi esta canção e percebi que é algo fora de série, como disse uma vz o Renato Russo, não adianta fazer só musica para vender, pq se for uma música ruim,,o cantor morre mas a música fika para sempre, e esta canção ficou é uma canção fenomenal, Elvis gostaria de ter nascido nos anos 60 para ter te conhecido melhor... It was quite popular, up until the '80s, for an artist to openly record other artists' songs. Elvis did it all the time. People actually begged him to do their songs, because if Elvis did it, it went #1, and they got some of the royalties. Elvis actually only wrote one song: "Heartbreak Hotel". He had "If I Can Dream" written. Other than that, most of his other songs are just his rendition. He does a great job at them, though. He was amazingly talented.
