Oh the memories, i remember it took me so long to complete toxic tower as a kid and then i got to the top of the tower eventually. This bit was so exciting, so much better than the GBA version, it really lacked the excitement and tension and the feeling that we`r almost at the end.

sad thing is I think they could have been a lot better if they would have straight ported the Snes versions and only made the graphics smaller to fit the GBA screen Rare did not need to brighten things to such a pukish level nor change the game's physics or cut (sometimes) entire animations or add unneeded extras

I don't think so. I've seen a video about that fight. Well... The original SNES version is much better. I mean. When I played this as a child I felt like "OMG I am the hero of the day... or... WTF?" and that awsome song starts. Like

I remember that wheh I was young. I reached this level dropped the controller in excitement, but when I saw K.Rool I picked it up and kept pressing buttons like crazy. Of couse it didn't work, but good laugh. The creators of the game really know how to make it suspensful!

I like the animatronic at the final in the Map World, with Dixie and Diddy walking. Makes me feel I'm in a futuristic game. And I'm in an old game!!!! Altough, nobody can say DKC trilogy is old :)

When I play "Donkey Kong Country 2" I like to clear most levels with Dixie Kong, rather than Diddy Kong. Dixie Kong is better, because she can do a helicopter spin to slow down her descent, and she can lift things with her hair above her head.
