Also the levels after the Alien Queen remind me way more of Duke 3D or any other Duke game out there than the previous levels.

Duke moves like he's arthritic, there're no secrets in the game, no alternate routes and it just feels like you're having your hand held throughout the entire game.

@themaniacboy It was not that the driving part was hard, nor long. It was that it was insufferably tedious and repetitive. I have read many reviews from different people, and the ones who aren't blinded by nostalgia pretty much agree. The secrets in the game aren't considered secrets by me. There is no need for an RPG when if I need an RPG there will be one supplied alongside a box of infinite ammunition. There secrets like Atomic health and Jetpacks are now simply taken out of the game.

Are you kidding me, i've seen jetpacks all over the place, only thing is that it isn't usable, only in multiplayer.

This game is great and many are blinded by that, the puzzles are awesome and are really creatively designed.

The action did not get tedious or repetitive for me at all, there is enough variety to keep your eyes peeled.

@terekevadexD Obviously, you can't read. I said that I have only played MW1, and boycotted MW2, therefore I do not see how I am a 'Fanboy'. Duke Nukem Forever wasn't a Duke game. It felt more of a Call of Duty game, due to monumental amounts of scripted events and almost complete linearity. This, coupled with dumb design decisions made by the dev's make this game less than sub-par.

No game has ever had the same impact on me as this. Well loved and well over 10 years later I still play it; how many games can boast such a long lasting appeal? This game was part of my childhood; though back then I was absolutely terrified of the battlelord. True legends never die and this game is one of those legends :D It's no wonder DNF was in development hell for such long as they needed a hell of a follow up to such a legendary game :)

I tried the HRP version of this game. Unfortunately to me it wasn't as enjoyable as everyone else says. :/

The exploration dragged on for too long at times. I'm more into faster paced games, but I don't mind a bit of searching around. I liked the weapons and items - definetly unique, but I found some of them rather useless.

This isn't a bad game, but I expected more.

I loved the atmosphere. Duke's character steals the whole show.

The strip bar is probably the most memorable place.

You can change the keys for classic Duke3D by running setup.exe in the duke3d directory. But if you want to use EDuke32 you just need to copy the DUKE3D.GRP file from your Duke3D directory into your eduke32 directory and you should be all set.
