  • Hey bro... very nice review i'd have to say i agree completely with ya... these 3 are utterly brilliant systems and i'm glad to be learning all of them! :) - stay well and good luck with the future

  • @shantanou hey thanx man!

  • btw, piper seminar with hans-erik petermann from capetown in paderborn,germany,26.6.'11!!!info:folder.folder@web.de

  • Cool, great line up on this video! There are alot more out there on YouTube. But, that will take a whole series of videos to cover them. Still, this is a great vid!

  • @Susanoo58 thanx and your right, there is a ton more! I'd like to network with them, but we knife guys must be ultra shy or something lol

  • Well spoken, 2 day u have 2 take advantage of the high tech. info that is out there 2 better under stand the world around us. History is great suff how ever, U need to B ready 4 today and the next., With out the new online Do Jo's a true Martial Artist would B just that , history. No one style is the one and only. A jack of many but a master of none is what it takes, as a life time is to short 2 master. My Thanks 2 U wmpyr and sifu Luke Holloway.

  • @smkdude26 hey thanx for the comment, yeah I think modern time right now is a great time to be a martial artist :)

  • Forgot to mention Scott [Libre Fighting Academy] has met and conferred with Nigel February (Piper)...I can't say I understand Piper but, it originated in the Prisons and Streets of South Africa.

One thing I've heard is they don't use state-of-the-art knives or steel. Because that's not what is bought, found, and/or made in the streets and prisons of South Africa. I could be mistaken.

  • @HELLZZARMY yeah thanx for that, I really didn't put in as much detail for them as the others, yeah I heard the same thing, which is a very practical and interesting perspective! I can see why you like LF, yeah Libre Fighting looks brutal, would go well for someone preparing for a zombie apocalypse :) take care bro!

  • hey Brother...great "shout-out" to the other channels that feature knife-combatives! Spot on summary too!

And most people know I'm biased towards Libre Fighting Academy...Scott Babb's style is a boxing-based knife-fighting system. yeah knives are deadly enough the straight razor is just wicked! He also endorsed and incorporated Chad Mcbroom's (Comprehensive Fighting System) "Raptor" defense tool!

Not to mention your great videos helping the masses understand the stick and the blade!

  • very good, very clear details and ideas, thanks for the detailed files...

  • @unicron24 thanx man, I don't think there has been a vid of introducing different styles of knife fighting popular on YT.

  • @wmpyr yeah i think your the first,,,so sweet, maybe u could interview these different styles ans do a series,, id watch em and spread them as well.. u always have good intel on style.....keep up the good work..

  • @unicron24 thanx man, yeah I really don't know these guys not much of an interview person anyway, but each one of them has worked hard to make it on here honing their craft, my hat goes off to them!

  • Sifu Luke is PHENOMENAL!!! Subscribed to him a long time ago, & his perspective of knife wielding is unique & sometimes out-of-the-box XD. Thanks for showing the other systems. Will check 'em out =D, aside from yours XD.

  • @Loyal2law yeah definitely, I wanted to include more, but those were the ones that came up from the top of my head :)
