the music was the element that kept me interested. I loved it...Boo to all those party poopers who can't find the mute button on the player! If you can't find that I doubt you'll be able to make a worm bin. Just a thought!
@Z71Ranger -- The music enhances the video's message, IMO. Imagine if ads or local news on TV did not include any sound. Fortunately, I have a tip that will help you with your sound predicament: Similarly to a DVD player or TV, YouTube has a volume control nob and a mute button allowing YOU to personalize the video experience. They are located immediately to the right of the play button.
very cool! a fellow in our leadership program is thinking about using vermicomposting (lombricultura in spanish) to help to start a plant nursery in honduras. he'll then use the plants generated therein to plant on roads bordering the mesoamerican reef to reduce sediment inflow to the same. you should check out his project on our channel (marleadership). thanks again!

It's not just veggies that you can put in there. Basically, anything organic. Coffee Grind (and the paper filter -- I suggest using the brown, unbleached if you don't already), egg shell is excellent, fabric lint, plant clippings from you houseplants or outdoors (no weeds!). Google info on composting ingredients. You'll be happy you did. If you don't garden, give it to a neighbour that does. :)
I use 3 old bath tubs for my worm farm, its free & provided enough space for my ever increasing worms. I fill it with banana stem fibres, cattle manure & some wet egg crates. I love it when the baby & adult worms squirm with each other while feeding on a rotting skin of a jack fruit...I love these worms..
Vermicomposting is grovy, but with this music...
not really informative either

I'd love to do vc. I feel so guilty throwing away scraps of compostable material.

I don't eat a lot of veggies. With how little food can those red worm still be productive and healthy?
