i'm confused what is he using to attack enemies?

Is it a weapon, or is he throwing stuff?

This is going to sound dumb but emulated version of this is a bit glitchy and I can;t seem to open the door from the beginning of this video. What control is the action button/ what have you?

I haven;t played this in forever and would like to get past the castle door if its not a glitch lol. Thanks in advance.

I remember this level from Castlevania 64. I hated the guts out of it. x.x Always fell off the steps on the second wing of the castle. However, I will always admire the White Dragon boss. Their design was neat, in my opinion.

im a big fan of the other castlevania game for n64, and carrie ftw; shes best char ever, next to millenia (grandia II)
