How to Make a Halo CE Server and Console

I'm not sure why, and how. but do I need to install patches(tell me how) for haloCE? I have the required one to work, but I need one that fixes my multiplayer servers. When I tryed to Host a server it said "your CD key is invalid." PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS.

i did put devmode and it still doesnt work.. like do you need the custom edition patch and add it to your combat evolved

and in the init file, before the mapcycle_add, put sv_motd "motd.txt"

p.s. dont make the motd more than 4 lines

@halokingmsm dude if u do cheat_deathless 1 its gives it to every one cause 1 means on and 0 means off theres no command that will give only one play deathless

no but if u type -devmode after -console u can, although its impossible for peeople to join your game because you can only create a game on LAN.
