Right now there is no original Bible. Musa (AS) and 'Isa (AS) DID NOT speak Greek. So what you really have is translated form of Bible which got translated to English and other languages. I wonder why? So the so called English speakers can easily understand what is written in Bible.
But then the words in Hebrew can not be completely translated to Greek and words of Greek can not 100% be translated in English and then from English to Urdu and the Urdu to Farsi and on and on. If one word got changed from Hebrew to Greek then the Bible is not in its true form. And then another word got changed when you translated Greek to English and then more words got changed as you translated it to different languages.
So where is your Hebrew Bible to verify that the Bible you have a authentic. That every word that has been translated to so many languages is the same. Qur'an Shareef has been kept in its original form so than we can always verify that all the translations match he original as much as it can. There are 360 million Arabic speaking people in the world. There are many English speaking people who are scholars of Arabic Language. Why don't you verify that the translation of English is same as Arabic?

- as a leader, he married the daughters of other tribal leaders to have an alliance, which is something done in the olden times.
- during the battles, there were many soldiers who died. there wives became widow. in the olden times a woman could not live by herself, whether it be europe or middle east, she needed to have a male support. so the Prophet (PBUH) married them.

Its not eqaulity that well free the women because women will always be different from men, it's equitity that will liberate women and that is exactly what Islam offeres to the women.

@87Philips First of all do not judge Islam by what muslims do. We all are humans and we all a liable to do mistakes and sins. Muslims are not perfect but Islam is. And if you are referring to the Ayat where it states "that whatever your right hands posses" then let me explain you the concept of marriage in Islam. A muslim woman is responsibility of her Wali (Gaudian), who is her father, it she does not have her father, then her brother, if her brother is too young then her closet male relative.
When she gets married to a man, her responsibility is transferred to her husband. Responsibility to provide her all the basic necessities of life and protect her and care for her. Treat her same as she was treated by her parents. This is called as Nikkah, transfer of responsibility from Wali to her husband. When muslims had slaves, they were the Wali or Gaurdian. They should treat the slaves as they treated their fellow humans beings who were free.
So when a muslim man wanted to marry his slave girl, there was no need of nikkah. Would he be transferring her responsibility from himself to himself. But he had to make it official by announcing to everyone that he has taken the slave girl as his wife by Valima or reception.
If a person commits a crime you will not blame the whole family for what he did. Similarly, don't blame Islam because of some so-called muslims commit sins. Just let you know, Islam condemns suicide, its considered as one of the great sins, that you take your life when its a gift from The One who created you. Please read Surah Maida, Surah 5 Ayat 32.
@thegreenghost1000 - Stoned to death, is not an easy verdict to give. You need to have a panel of 5 judges who are scholars of Islam, they know the Shari'a law and at least 2 witnesses. If the person who is guilty repents then they are not put to death. @ImariShinaya It is also important to note that Prophet Muhammad had to follow different laws than what is obligatory on a regular Muslim. For example, he was obliged to pray salaats that were not obligatory on other Muslims, as a prophet. When it came to his multiple wives, he had to follow rules that other Muslims don't have to. He could not divorce his wives for example. That's why he had more than the max. number of 4.
@ImariShinaya Well listed though & we must remember that marrying more than one wife is not easy as there are strict rules. That's why Prophet Muhammad said it is better that a man marries one woman only. Plus, I can't think of a very logical reason for a man to marry a second wife in the 21st century - unless he likes a second woman for better looks etc. Then that would mean he would not be treating them equally as he would show one affection more than the other & therefore would not be lawful.

- as a leader, he married the daughters of other tribal leaders to have an alliance, which is something done in the olden times.
- during the battles, there were many soldiers who died. there wives became widow. in the olden times a woman could not live by herself, whether it be europe or middle east, she needed to have a male support. so the Prophet (PBUH) married them.

@ISLAMizCANCER Its funny, just coz the Bible does not exists in Hebrew you can talk such things about Qur'an. If the Bible existed in its true form, then every Christian had to learn Hebrew. Right now there is no original Bible. Musa (AS) and 'Isa (AS) DID NOT speak Greek. So what you really have is translated form of Bible which got translated to English and other languages. I wonder why? So the so called English speakers can easily understand what is written in Bible.

But then the words in Hebrew can not be completely translated to Greek and words of Greek can not 100% be translated in English and then from English to Urdu and the Urdu to Farsi and on and on. If one word got changed from Hebrew to Greek then the Bible is not in its true form. And then another word got changed when you translated Greek to English and then more words got changed as you translated it to different languages.

Qur'an Shareef has been kept in its original form so than we can always verify that all the translations match he original as much as it can. There are 360 million Arabic speaking people in the world. There are many English speaking people who are scholars of Arabic Language. Why don't you verify that the translation of English is same as Arabic?

In fact, that was the official state doctrine during the rule of Caliph al-Ma'mun. It was only with the rise of Ahmad ibn Hanbal, the Asharites and the rise of Sunni Islam that marked the downfall and backwardness of Islam. Muhammad thought that the spirit was a jinn. (Sahih Bukhari 1.3) He even contemplated commiting suicide by throwing himself down a mountain. Khadjia then had to convince him that his vision was of a man of god.
This is a man who waged war with others to spread his message. Worship/respect him? Dont think so

- as a leader, he married the daughters of other tribal leaders to have an alliance, which is something done in the olden times.
- during the battles, there were many soldiers who died. there wives became widow. in the olden times a woman could not live by herself, whether it be europe or middle east, she needed to have a male support. so the Prophet (PBUH) married them.

@abdullahalmahmood SubhaAllah Mu'aawiyyah (RA) is a great Sahabi, but just because he passed on he's position to his son doesn't mean that is what Islam teaches. The best examples are the first four Khalifa, Abu Bakr (RA), Omar (RA), Uthman (RA) and Ali (RA). It's their footsteps that one should follow if one is in the position of power. I still say our Lord, our Master and our King is only Allah (SWT). Everything and every Power belongs only to Him and Him alone. We need a Khalifa not kings.

@pinoyPhilosopher Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (R.A): The Prophet (pbuh) sent Mu’adh to Yemen and said, “Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah.” Volume 3, Book 43, Number 628: Sahih Bukhari. The Quran is filled with Ayat saying not to oppress and transgress and Allah(SWT) does not like oppressors and transgressors. I wonder how many of they so-called Muslims in Saudi know Quran by heart esp since it's in their own language

@ImariShinaya Sister sorry for having mistaken you for a man. I am happy to know that not all people who live in saudi badly treat my people. Basing from what you said, and even if I have not been to Saudi or these Islamic countries, now I know that Islam is not to blame for that my people are being treated this way malevolently. I used to think that maybe Islam really is intolerant of Filipinos like us since the arabs may think we are a lowly race.

So is it really true that there are more opportunities and freedom to learn about Islam in the West? Then I must be lucky. Praised be Allah. although we Filipinos are in the East (Philippines), we were colonized by the Westerners so that makes us Western thinkers.

Respond to this video... And regarding slavery, Islam is the first to abolish slavery. Since you feel insulted if I post a Qur'an verse, whenever you feel like read Surah Nur 24th Surah Ayat 32-33. At the time when the Ayat was revealed, there was no slave girls remaining except the ones who were too young to be married or had some disablity that they could not get married. As a muslim, my source of answers will always be the Qur'an and Hadith, because we live our life according to it.

@87Philips First of all do not judge Islam by what muslims do. We all are humans and we all a liable to do mistakes and sins. Muslims are not perfect but Islam is. And if you are referring to the Ayat where it states "that whatever your right hands posses" then let me explain you the concept of marriage in Islam. A muslim woman is responsibility of her Wali (Gaudian), who is her father, it she does not have her father, then her brother, if her brother is too young then her closet male relative.

When she gets married to a man, her responsibility is transferred to her husband. Responsibility to provide her all the basic necessities of life and protect her and care for her. Treat her same as she was treated by her parents. This is called as Nikkah, transfer of responsibility from Wali to her husband. When muslims had slaves, they were the Wali or Gaurdian. They should treat the slaves as they treated their fellow humans beings who were free.

So when a muslim man wanted to marry his slave girl, there was no need of nikkah. Would he be transferring her responsibility from himself to himself. But he had to make it official by announcing to everyone that he has taken the slave girl as his wife by Valima or reception.

If a person commits a crime you will not blame the whole family for what he did. Similarly, don't blame Islam because of some so-called muslims commit sins. Just let you know, Islam condemns suicide, its considered as one of the great sins, that you take your life when its a gift from The One who created you. Please read Surah Maida, Surah 5 Ayat 32.

@thegreenghost1000 - Stoned to death, is not an easy verdict to give. You need to have a panel of 5 judges who are scholars of Islam, they know the Shari'a law and at least 2 witnesses. If the person who is guilty repents then they are not put to death. @ImariShinaya It is also important to note that Prophet Muhammad had to follow different laws than what is obligatory on a regular Muslim. For example, he was obliged to pray salaats that were not obligatory on other Muslims, as a prophet. When it came to his multiple wives, he had to follow rules that other Muslims don't have to. He could not divorce his wives for example. That's why he had more than the max. number of 4.

@ImariShinaya Well listed though & we must remember that marrying more than one wife is not easy as there are strict rules. That's why Prophet Muhammad said it is better that a man marries one woman only. Plus, I can't think of a very logical reason for a man to marry a second wife in the 21st century - unless he likes a second woman for better looks etc. Then that would mean he would not be treating them equally as he would show one affection more than the other & therefore would not be lawful.

@Tsaunders1307 the Prophet (PBUH) had to multiple wives for many reasons -
- as a leader, he married the daughters of other tribal leaders to have an alliance, which is something done in the olden times.
- during the battles, there were many soldiers who died. there wives became widow. in the olden times a woman could not live by herself, whether it be europe or middle east, she needed to have a male support. so the Prophet (PBUH) married them.

@Tsaunders1307 Why don't you take into consideration the goodness he brought? Look into Arabian history & practices before Prophet Muhammad. Burying baby girls, worshiping idols, treating women like sex objects etc. He didn't marry multiple wives out of being horny (lol). Slavery was gradually brought to an end in Islam & slaves were freed by Allah's command. Some ahadith also show this.

If you are attacked, you have to fight back. Look at the situation in the Middle East; would it be wrong for the people to stand up for themselves in a situation where they are attacked, their lives destroyed, loved ones killed for the sake of wordly power & greed? You need to look at the whole picture. Not just small points.

@lye54 -is hypertension. Moreover, many deaths and illneses are caused by alcohol, which all humans know. Alcohol is the only disease that is marketed, advertised, packaged in bottles/cans and is shipped to people who in turn drink and consume the disease. It is the reason and cause of many social ills in societies, for e.g America suppossed to be the most advanced country in the world yet has the highest rape rate, highest drug intake rate, murder/crime rate highest prison poulation, incest etc

But your other statistics are suspect, and mostly non-sense. Besides, you can't compare the U.S., with its freedom of the press, with other countries, e.g., Islam-dominated countries, where truth-telling is strongly discouraged ("There are no homosexuals in Iran"-Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ) and free expression amounts to apostasy .

@K131399 No he did not, she was only 6 yrs old when he married her. It is written in many of Islamic writs that he raped her at the age of 9; even though, Muslims do not accept that raping a 9 yr old girl is considered rape. He also was, according to these same Islamic scriptures, that he also like to rape boys with his men. The sencond part I know no Muslim will accept that fact as well.
