im getting a DMM soon! and then, i was thinking about getting a danelectro reel echo. Does anyone know how those are? just in terms of a delay pedal, dont really care if it immitates tape good.

I think so too.... gonna have to add to my already large delay collection. the DD-20 and Dano PB&J (cheap!) are also excellent. I always come away from my carbon copy thinking, "this thing is too clean"
This was a great demo! Usually, the person doing the demo gets in the way of allowing you to hear what the wet signal sounds like. You gave the feel of various playing situations, plus you let us hear how the delay actually sounds. Thanks so much. The C/C had piqued my interest. That's why I viewed this. However, to my ear, the DMM was the winner. At more than twice the price, it should be. This video really makes me want a DMM. Still that C/C is a great sounding pedal.

The DMM is best as being warm, but the Transport is best at sounding like an old tape echo. It just depends on what you want.

Wow, the DMM slays them all actually. much much warmer.
Does the high pitch squeeling from the repeats of the EDDT annoy you? Or can you live with that? It makes it quite bad for slapback IMO

How about the moogerfooger delay?

Have you tried the Malekko delays? If so, opinions? You do seem to be a modulation man.

Thanks for posting this! All three delays are nice; I think I still prefer the DMM, seems richest/most dreamy.
