  • do they return the meteorite/rock back?

  • Just because its not as magnetic as the other one does not mean that its not a meteorite. Have they been trained in meteorite detection. There should be a 4 step process to determine if its of meteorite quality. This is the reason we started our meteorite testing facility in Kansas.

  • you can also send them to the kansas meteorite association for testing, you can find them here, kansasmeteoriteassociation(dot)weebly(dot)com good luck

  • this is youtube why do we have to watch fucking commercials? you dicks are going to riun it with making money.

  • @infundadiform ok. then you donate to keep youtube FREE.

  • Just because there is no fusion crust doesnt mean its not a meteorite, maybe its been on the earth a long time and the fusion crust wore off, and if it has more stone content, than iron, it wont stick to a magnet as well as a solid iron meteorite.

  • 1:23 i thought it was a vibrator, god im so perverted

  • Okay i walked my dog, i turned around, and when i looked again i saw that little pile of fuming matter that smelled really bad and had to have felled down from the sky so i picked it up and I'm gonna send it to you guys for analysis in a brown envelope.

  • It HAS to be a meteorite, i can see no other explanation that it came from outer space.

I hope it ends up in a museum with my name under it.

  • maybe it's poo eject from a plane...

  • You're right, maybe some pilot opened the window and took a dump.

But what if it was a UFO pilot, AHA!

I'm gonna send it anyway for analysis.

  • omg! they found out what i was doing to my shit silos.....

  • We have some rock in our house that might be a meteorite. We aren't quite sure though. It's very heavy, has some funky rust-like spots, and seems to have crater-like holes. We haven't tested for any magnetic strength though.

  • sell it to NASA and demand 10million dollars for it! :D

  • Well, I don't think it's worth quite that much. =D But if it was a meteorite, it would definitely be worth some money

  • LOL, "Demand" it that'd be cool though =p

  • why do you have to send it off lol...They invented google for that kindof stuff nubcakes.

  • I'm gonna collect 100's of rocks, And like, Send them in.

  • okie and it will cost u furtune

  • weeee

  • There is a big 42 ton boulder behind my house i want analyzed.

I hope they accept ups parcels.

  • Hahahaha.

  • lol

  • It could be a magnetic rock that we hadn't seen.

  • if you did find one and sent it to them for testing and they knew it was a meteorite, would they let you keep it? Or would they just say forget you and send you back a lump of coal or soemthing?

  • very interesting!

  • A highly doubt they do it for free just out of the goodness of thier hearts and that we pay taxes. most likely the collect data from them and record them.

  • well yeah, I don't think they would do it for free if it didn't benifit them at all. Thats valuable information that can be put to good use. So it's free on our part, but they also gain from it by recording the data and sending it back. They also do the same thing with fossils.

  • im gonna send fucking hundreds of rocks in

  • isn't that kind of idiotic?

  • yea, but i like to know that me wasting time is causing others to waste time

  • LMFAO

  • and whats dat supposed to mean?

  • so what do we get?!

  • Lol, they'll probably stop this. People could just easily send in all kinds of crap just to annoy these scientists. This is still cool though.

  • The iron meteorite is what I have then! I have always wondered if it was and the textures, luster, and looks of theirs looks almost exactly like mine but they have a smaller one. My rock ahs a blackish material marking to. I'm pretty glad that I have it now. :3

  • what is the meteor is stuck in your head do you mail your self in?

  • rofl

  • No, then you go to the hospital and have them take it out of your (probably dead) body , CAREFULLY rinse the blood off and THEN mail it in.

  • the aliens are very slowly trying to KILL us

  • so do you send it back if its a meteorite

  • No shit.

  • try to be nice ,fuckface

  • lol funny shit dude

  • :O i see i shooting star ^^ now i wish that i have a meteorite! ^^

  • so how are you suppose to mail in a meteorite that's 1 foot in length?

i guess you would only mail a small chunk of it then...

  • It better be free.

  • I want a meteorite

  • @catsrool5 i do to, thats why i bought one ;)

  • lol

  • Awesome!
