@DiegoCarrera1 The instrumental is nowhere near as good but you have to admit, her vocal is much more powerful than Jay Kay's. I too prefer the Jamiroquai version and I love Jay Kay's voice, it's superb, but Beverley has done an amazing version of the song. Cover's are rarely as good as the original but as far as covers go, this one is VERY good!

@DiegoCarrera1 Yeah her voice is definitely more powerful, which is what Jamiroquai covers need in my opinion, not to shoot down Jay Kay's voice at all, especially when this came out! Beverley's done exactly what I wanted from a female voice, embellished on notes where Jay Kay can't, and with such clarity too! And ya know, some covers are better than originals, but when you slow a song down like this down, or any song for that matter, you can do so much with it, brilliantly played by the band!!!

@piho1 they did, on Main Vein - A funk Odyssey. She was more backing vocals but I think that's when he got a taste of backing singers and went forth with them on the next album.
