@lsisto1 thats k i love caleb he is so rave and his bro colin is so good to him olz them the comments form me thx, how is his ds going and wht type it is
Ive got a Dexcom Seven Plus that is pretty much brand new that is just sitting in my drawer. I ended up getting a Medtronic paradigm pump that has the CGM built in. If anyone would like it please message me. It works perfect I just upgraded to my new pump and no longer need it. :)
@MrTB1027 I have. You are correct. It is not approved for children. Nevertheless, many use it effectively and successfully, including Caleb. Thanks for your comment.
@MrTB1027 I used it a few times going snowboarding and i'm a kid too for a way to tell if my blood sugar may be going low, as i know it's not 100% accurate, but worked great!
So How often do you change it? Because I just had an A1c of 7.0 and the doctors want me to get on one but I guess I'm just kind of confused as to how long it stays in because my pump is about three to four days but yeah so it stays in seven days? Is it hard to do it? Sorry for all the questions because Caleb can do it without a second thought so i'm not as worried about the pain anymore! =) so thank you!
Colin's current idea is to create a pump with 2 reservoirs - one for insulin and one for glucagon to offset lows that are anticipated. Not a cure, but he's thinking!
AWESOME!!! "It didn't hurt" - Love it. It's amazing what the Nintendo DS can do for pain management. :-) AWESOME VIDEO WORK, I might need to him for filming :-)
One day i hope they bring these to australia and make them afordable because the the minimed CGM with the pump they want $1000 for a couple of sensors and it isnt covered on any insurance. Caleb was sooo brave. Keep up all the good work.
Thanks for your comment. I hope the cost structure improves soon. Those prices are crazy. The sensors are expensive, but more like $100 per here. The receiver transmitter I think is estimated at $1000, but that's a one time start up cost.
Caleb has gotten so big since you started doing videos about him! He is so brave and he didn't even flinch! Is the inserter needle larger then the omnipod?
wow cekab is soooo brave

Have you seen the safety instructions for the Dexcom 7Plus?
SEVEN System is not approved for use in children or adolescents, pregnant
women or persons on dialysis.
Safety and effectiveness of the SEVEN System has not been evaluated for sensor
probe insertion sites other than the skin of the abdomen.
