The paradigm has a long time ago been dealt with when General Magic gave you HyperCard on a 'netbook' with the PIC 1000 and then the PIC 2000. Had phone and thus 'web' built in. Was priced then about 1000 USD, and you have not really improved much over this paradigm, almost 17 years later. Also the price is nothing little. Spend 100 more for a MacBook 13" and you get power, an OS, and if you want, you can simulate nicely 'little' with opera.
Good try, but this product relies too much on Google. Google search, Youtube, Google news etc... if these online giants were to go out of service, ur LITL is as good as a brick.
You won't be able to sync ur devices with LITL as all the softwares installations will work with either windows or Mac.
many of the USB devices including printer will not work with LITL.
the web is evolving everyday. Without constant updates, LITL's web browser will not be able view contents that most PC's can view
@LookMaNoBrains Like you mum ever synced any device to Windows PC. Kindly realize the world is not like you, there are huge number of customers whom might suit the functionality very well. All my mum is doing is email, web and looking at photos, this might be actually great device for her.
Google going out of service soon? you gotta be kidding. and btw I am pretty sure there will are other services besides google (flickr for example?)
For $699 atlease a 15" inch screen should be available. 178 degree viewing radius is a plus though. The website doesn't list the brightness of the screen or the resolution.
I actually like this concept. They've simplified things drastically, but have kept the basics there. Great product for, say, the elderly who don't need all the "noise" of a typical OS.
don't wanna offen the crunchgear team cause i love your site but this video is horrible to watch. zoom in, zoom out, please don't do that anymore ;)
The system looks interesting but it won't sell at all, sorry litl but the days of the computer dummies are over. I always wonder where these companies are getting their fundings from.
The start up song in this video is the theme song to a weird brain quiz i took :D

too many details. Show me how this device is going to change my life. I don't get why I would want to buy this device.

I think you get waaaay too litl for the price. Why would I wanna buy this instead of a 300$ more versatile netbook?
And it's another product with choppy GUI... It's nearly 2010 and we still can't have something as easy as a flawless GUI animation?

Even as a developer I could see use for this nice little machine.
But it should have at least half the current price.

It's beautifully simple! The product design is gorgeous... the only bad thing is the price.

This is a damning step backwards in tech.
