@MrsRedAng It's really easy Angie but if you don't like it, there's probably no reason to bother. I didn't like it when I was a kid, but I do now. Turns out I like lots of pies. Oh, I thought of you; made lemon meringue in cupcake tins. I did them without crusts because they are hard for her to eat, but if you were going to do them for your book, you'd want a crust. Still, it might be a good idea for parties....A half recipe filled 7 tins.

@popparoc46 She was confused today about where she was going to have dinner, but then when I said pie, she remembered the lemon meringue I'd made her. She asked if I'd bring her some tomorrow. Of course I will! :) She's special and deserves only the best.
@Perroquet51 It's so strange Marc, because I did it for years. I guess I just got lucky or the places I shopped in Minnesota carried edible ones. Whatever; I learned my lesson! :) I'm sorry your Thanksgiving is crappy. If you were closer, I'd make you come and eat pie with us. Or have an adult beverage or so. Here's hoping your winter begins to look up.
@thizizliz Aww, thanks Liz. Wouldn't take much to "make" me eat pie. The day has greatly improved. I had to come to Adrian, this morning, only to discover I had a flat tire. Got that fixed and it's all been good since :-)
@cozzyk It is, isn't it? I should have taken a photo of the table set because it was really pretty. I folded the napkins per Trish's video and put the wine goblets on the plates. I hope your Thanksgiving is lovely.
@jcrefasi1 Oh she's such a love; we are all lucky to have had her in our lives all these years. She taught me to love pretty things and to treasure the memories that goes with them. All the things she's given me have stories attached. It's a great joy to use them and remember the people through whom they came.
@Tobie2 It was weird indeed. No, we had one today but yes, we'll have one tomorrow too. Today was with my Auntie. We couldn't take her because of the distance and a lot of stairs - it's too much for her now. But that's cool; we get to celebrate for 2 days! :)

I also discovered that if there isn't a sign indicating that the pumpkin is edible, it probably isn't.
Most Thanksgivings have been about the same so I can't think of a best one. Today, is probably the worst one. Hope yours is much better.
