I dpn't agree with you. Vovinam and Viet Vo Dao are not the same; in Viet Vo dao, they wear black, and in Vovinam we wear blue.

And in Vovinam we have the vat, as grappling.

I practise Vovinam, and I can tell you it's quite different of Viet Vo dao.

In Vietnamese, "vo" means martial art, and "dao" has the same meaning as "do" in karatedo, judo.. so basically they are the same.

Vovinam is slightly different. The Vietvodao vophuc (kimono) is black.
